Saskatoon Southeast

Saskatoon/Banga International Air Aerodrome (TC LID: CJN5), formerly the Saskatoon/Corman Air Park, is located 10 nautical miles (19 km; 12 mi) south-east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The airport is home to the Light Flight Flying Club. The club owns three aircraft, two ultra-light Husky Norseman and one Piel Super Emeraude. The Norseman were locally built at the airport in 1988 while the Emeraude is a kit aircraft.The airport also hosts the CAVOK Ultralight Flight School.

Saskatchewan International Raceway, also known as SIR, is a drag racing facility located 13 kilometers south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The facility features a ¼ mile IHRA-sanctioned drag strip. The track was originally built by Les Howard in 1966. The facility was purchased from Les in the 1990s by the Saskatchewan Drag Racing Association, a non-profit club which had been operating the track since the 1980s. In 2016 SIR was improved in areas including new asphalt from the concrete starting line to the second off-track return and the return road itself. More grandstands were added and other things were done for the SIR 50th Big Go to accommodate racers and spectators in August 2016. Events run from May to September, and feature Friday night street legal racing, alcohol Funny Cars, altereds, nitro and jet cars, Test and Tune races, as well as SIR Points Series races where drivers compete toward the year-end championship.

Floral, Saskatchewan is an unincorporated community in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Floral is part of the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 (R.M. of Corman Park). The R.M. of Corman Park surrounds the city of Saskatoon, and Floral is southeast of the city limits of Saskatoon, beyond the southeast corner of the shared R.M. of Corman Park - Saskatoon Planning District. Floral lies east of Highway 11/Louis Riel Trail, along east-west Floral Road/Township Road 360, generally between north-south Range Roads 3041 and 3044, on land that is now bisected by Highway 16/Yellowhead Highway.The post office at Floral operated from June 1, 1905, to October 31, 1923. Floral had a grain elevator, built in 1927 and demolished in 2003. The Floral Cemetery and dormant church building are on Floral Road, between Range Roads 3043 and 3044.Floral is home to one of the seven community centres within the R.M. of Corman Park, located on Floral Road east of Range Road 3044 and west of the Floral Cemetery. The Floral Community Centre occupies the former one room school house of Floral School District #688, in the Southwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 36, Range 4 west of the Third Meridian (SW-4-36-4-W3), complete with adjacent sports fields.The Prairie Swine Centre, a non-profit research and technology centre partnered with industry and governments across Canada, is located on Floral Road east of the Floral Cemetery and east of Range Road 3043.The original 1905 Floral Post Office was located on this same Section 4, but later moved to a building closer to Range Road 3041 in Section 2.Floral was the birthplace of National Hockey League ice hockey player Gordie Howe.

CKOM is a radio station in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada broadcasting at 650 kHz. Its format is news/talk. It shares studio space with sister stations CFMC and CJDJ at 715 Saskatchewan Crescent West, also the home of Rawlco Radio's Corporate Offices.

Grandora is a hamlet in Saskatchewan. It is located approximately 24 km (15 miles) West of Saskatoon, just south of Hwy 14. Very little remains of the original settlement. Mail is delivered to the Post Office which is located in the Sandyridge store, directly on Hwy 14. The story of how Grandora received its name is a sweet one. Apparently a newly married couple, looking to settle, ventured west to find a homestead. At one point the husband found a spot he liked and remarked "Isn't it just grand, Dora?!", and so the spot was named Grandora.

8th Street East is an arterial road serving the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It begins as a continuation of a minor residential street (8th Street West) at Lorne Avenue in Saskatoon, and runs through the eastern part of city, eventually exiting the city limits as a country road.

Saskatoon Christian School (SCS) is an independent faith-based elementary and secondary school located south of Lakeview and east of Stonebridge, in Corman Park, Saskatchewan, Canada. The institution provides Christian instruction from Kindergarten to Grade 12, in full compliance with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education's Goals of Education and Curriculum Policy.The school was established in 1983, and is operated by the Saskatoon Society for Christian Education.
