The Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers (formerly Health Careers Academy) is one of several Horace Mann Charter Schools in the Boston Public Schools system. On April 25, 2010, the school was renamed to honor the late senator, Edward M. Kennedy. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, United States on the campus of Northeastern University, EMK is a college prep high school with a focus on careers in the health professions. Among its partners is the Center for Community Health Education Research and Service (CCHERS), which noted a need in the community for a more diverse population of health care providers.

The Stony Brook Gatehouse is a former gatehouse in The Fens in Boston, located next to The Fenway east of Forsyth Way. It formerly controlled flow from the Stony Brook into the Muddy River. The structure was designed around 1881 by Henry Hobson Richardson, who also designed several bridges in the park. The building features a slate roof with distinctive wooden beams and walls of smooth stones of varying cuts. The red mortar used between the stone is similar to that of many of Richardson's other works. A near-identical companion building, designed by Richardson's successors Shepley, Rutan and Coolidge, was constructed in 1905 when the Stony Brook culvert was enlarged.In 2010, the building was refurbished for use as the Emerald Necklace Visitor and Volunteer Center.

Forsyth Park is a 1.68-acre (0.68 ha) park along the Fenway in Boston's Fenway–Kenmore neighborhood, in the United States. Part of the Emerald Necklace, the park features a statue of John Endecott.

A statue of John Endecott by artist C. Paul Jennewein and architect Ralph Weld Gray is installed along The Fenway, in Boston's Forsyth Park, in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. Activists have objected to the statue because of Endecott's treatment of Indigenous Americans.

The Back Bay Fens, often called The Fens, is a parkland and urban wild in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States. It was established in 1879. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted to serve as a link in the Emerald Necklace park system, the Fens gives its name to the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood.

The Boston Opera House was an opera house located on Huntington Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. It opened in 1909 (1909) as the home of the Boston Opera Company and was demolished in 1958 (1958) after years of disuse. Speare Hall, a Northeastern University dormitory, now stands on the site at the corner of Opera Place and Huntington Avenue.

Westland Gate (also known as the Johnson Gates) is a pair of fountains that borders the Back Bay Fens at the end of Westland Avenue in Boston.

Northeastern University station (signed as Northeastern) is a surface-level trolley stop on the MBTA Green Line. It is located in a dedicated median along Huntington Avenue in Boston, between Opera Place and Forsyth Street, and is adjacent to the Krentzman Quad on the campus of Northeastern University. It is the first surface-level stop going outbound along the Green Line E branch; trolleys rise from a portal located between Opera Place and Gainsborough Street and continue along the surface down Huntington Avenue towards Mission Hill.

The World War II Memorial by John Francis Paramino is installed in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It was completed during 1947–1949, copyrighted in 1948, and erected in 1949. The bronze and granite war memorial features an allegorical statue of winged female figure of Victory. Behind her is a wall with 27 bronze plaques listing the names of people who died in World War II. The work was surveyed as part of the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.

Northeastern University School of Law (NUSL) is the law school of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded as an evening program to meet the needs of its local community, Northeastern law school is nationally recognized for its cooperative legal education and public interest law programs.

The Cabot Center is the home of several indoor athletic teams of Northeastern University Huskies in Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1954 and named in 1957 for patron Godfrey Lowell Cabot, the building houses a variety of facilities for the various teams. The arena is built on the site of the old Huntington Avenue Grounds, where the first-ever World Series baseball game was held in 1903, and is barely over a quarter-mile (402 m) away to the southwest from the Matthews Arena, the original home of the NHL's Boston Bruins ice hockey team in 1924.

The New England Manufacturers' and Mechanics' Institute (established in 1879) flourished in the 1880s in Boston, Massachusetts. It existed as a rival to the long-established Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association. Individuals affiliated with the NEM and M Institute included businessman John F. Wood, James L. Little, John M. Little, Samuel R. Payson, William B. Merrill, and Frederick W. Griffin.
