Harriswood Crescent

Abbotsford, now the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists, is a historic house at 300 Walnut Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The museum is dedicated to black visual arts heritage worldwide, and presents historical and contemporary exhibitions in many media, including painting, sculpture, graphics, photography and decorative arts. The museum is operated by the National Center of Afro-American Artists.

The Malcolm X—Ella Little-Collins House is a historic house at 72 Dale street in the Roxbury section of Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1874, it was for many years home to Ella Little-Collins, a prominent local civil rights activist, and was home to her younger brother Malcolm X during his later teenage years. During this period Malcolm X was exposed to Islam, beginning his path to involvement in the Nation of Islam. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021, at which time it was still owned by the Collins family.

Girls' High School was a high school that was located in Roxbury, Boston. It was founded in 1852 by a group including Dr. LeBaron Russell. It was initially located above a public library in the former Adams schoolhouse on Mason Street.In 1869, construction began for a purpose-built school building, located on Newton Street between Tremont and Shawmut Avenue. That building was designed for just under 1000 students, with 8 classrooms, 15 recitation rooms, 3 studios, chemical, physical, and botanical laboratories, and a hall, as well as facilities dedicated to the Girls' Latin School. This building was formally dedicated on April 19, 1871. By 1903, the high school's share of this space was described as insufficient in the Boston Globe.The school became coeducational in the latter half of the 20th century. By spring 1974, the school housed 500 female students and 200 male students. That spring, the Boston School Committee voted to change the school's name to Roxbury High School. This name was the most popular among petitioning students.Roxbury High closed in 1981

Boston Latin Academy (BLA) is a public exam school founded in 1878 in Boston, Massachusetts providing students in grades 7th through 12th a classical preparatory education. Originally named Girls' Latin School until 1977, the school was the first college preparatory high school for girls in the United States. Now coeducational, the school is located in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston and is part of Boston Public Schools (BPS).

Roxbury Memorial High School is a defunct four-year public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades. Originally founded as Roxbury High School, the school was situated at 26 Townsend Street, in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States from 1926 until its closure in 1960.

Roxbury Charter High Public School was a secondary school located in Roxbury, Massachusetts, United States. The school first opened in 2003. It closed in 2006.

St. Joseph Catholic Church was a parish in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, serving the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The parish was established in 1845, and a church was built in the same year. The entire church complex, including the rectory, convent and parish school, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The parish was closed by the archdiocese in 2002, after which the property was sold.

Roxbury Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church at 328 Warren Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The Gothic church building was designed by John C. Spofford and built in 1891 for a congregation organized in 1881. Built of Roxbury pudding stone, it has asymmetrical massing partitioned into polygonal sections. The tower at the northwest corner starts on a square base, rising with differently-shaped sections to a pyramidal roof. Half of the building's original construction cost was paid for by the Gilchrist brothers, owners of the locally prominent Gilchrist Department Store.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.In May 2014, former WBZ-TV anchor Liz Walker was installed as Pastor. She had been "transitional leader" since 2011.

The Walnut Park Historic District is a historic district encompassing a cluster of multifamily brick buildings in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Roughly centered on the junction of Walnut Park and Waldren Road, the area was developed in the early 20th century during a major Jewish migration, and includes a fine sample of Colonial Revival architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.

The Humboldt Avenue Historic District is a historic district encompassing a cluster of multifamily brick buildings in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Centered on the junction of Humboldt Avenue and Hutchings Street, the area was developed in 1915-16 during a major Jewish migration, and includes a fine sample of Colonial Revival architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

Charles Street African Methodist Episcopal Church is an historic African Methodist Episcopal Church at 551 Warren Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The current church building (originally All Souls Unitarian Church) was built in 1888 by J. Williams Beal and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
