Charles Street African Methodist Episcopal Church

The Crawford Street Historic District encompasses a collection of primarily residential apartment houses on Crawford Street between Elm Hill Avenue and Warren Street in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The area was developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and features well-preserved wood frame single and multi-family residences from that period, as well as the city's only extant Brutalist style branch library building. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

The Elm Hill Park Historic District is a historic district encompassing a small residential area in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It encompasses a residential development created in the early 20th century, including fine examples of Colonial Revival and Queen Anne wood-frame construction, as well as a series of brick Romanesque apartment houses. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

Freedom House is a nonprofit community-based organization in Roxbury, Massachusetts (a neighborhood of Boston). Freedom House is located in an area sometimes referred to as Grove Hall that lies along Blue Hill Ave. at the border between the Roxbury and Dorchester neighborhoods of Boston. Although it was historically identified with Roxbury, Freedom House currently refers to itself as being located either in Dorchester or in Grove Hall.

Congregation Adath Jeshurun is a historic synagogue, now serving as a church, at 397 Blue Hill Avenue in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. As the Jewish community of Roxbury gradually moved away, its congregation dwindled and in 1967 it was sold to Ecclesia Apostolic Church. It was purchased by its present owner, the First Haitian Baptist Church, in 1978. The church has restored it to its present condition.The Romanesque style building was designed in 1906 by Frederick Norcross and David Krokyn and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Roxbury Memorial High School is a defunct four-year public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades. Originally founded as Roxbury High School, the school was situated at 26 Townsend Street, in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States from 1926 until its closure in 1960.

Girls' High School was a high school that was located in Roxbury, Boston. It was founded in 1852 by a group including Dr. LeBaron Russell. It was initially located above a public library in the former Adams schoolhouse on Mason Street.In 1869, construction began for a purpose-built school building, located on Newton Street between Tremont and Shawmut Avenue. That building was designed for just under 1000 students, with 8 classrooms, 15 recitation rooms, 3 studios, chemical, physical, and botanical laboratories, and a hall, as well as facilities dedicated to the Girls' Latin School. This building was formally dedicated on April 19, 1871. By 1903, the high school's share of this space was described as insufficient in the Boston Globe.The school became coeducational in the latter half of the 20th century. By spring 1974, the school housed 500 female students and 200 male students. That spring, the Boston School Committee voted to change the school's name to Roxbury High School. This name was the most popular among petitioning students.Roxbury High closed in 1981

Boston Latin Academy (BLA) is a public exam school founded in 1878 in Boston, Massachusetts providing students in grades 7th through 12th a classical preparatory education. Originally named Girls' Latin School until 1977, the school was the first college preparatory high school for girls in the United States. Now coeducational, the school is located in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston and is part of Boston Public Schools (BPS).

Mosque No. 11, also known as Masjid Al-Quran, was a mosque in Boston, Massachusetts. The building came to prominence in the late 1950s when it was leased by the Nation of Islam and placed under the direction of Malcolm X, who was a minister there and at Mosques No. 7 and No. 12 until he left the religion for Sunni Islam in 1964.

The Intervale Street-Blue Hill Avenue Historic District is a historic district encompassing a densely built residential area in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Centered on a stretch of Intervale Street near Blue Hill Avenue, the area was developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries during a major Jewish migration, and includes a fine sample of Colonial Revival architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts (ELSFA) was founded in 1950 by Elma Lewis. The school, based in Roxbury, Boston, provided classes in a variety of artistic, social, and cultural topics, including art, dance, drama, music, and costuming. Lewis founded the school with the intention of promoting "programs of cultural enrichment for the benefit of deprived children" in Roxbury, Dorchester and throughout the Greater Boston area. The school closed at its Elm Hill Avenue location following an arson fire in 1985.

The William Lloyd Garrison School is a historic school building at 20 Hutchings Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Built in stages between 1910 and 1929 and named for abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison, it is a high-quality example of period school architecture, noted at the time for its state-of-the-art features. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and has since been converted into residences.

Centered on the junction of Humboldt Avenue and Hutchings Street, the area was developed in 1915-16 during a major Jewish migration, and includes a fine sample of Colonial Revival architecture. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
