Police Old Town

Policki Nurt is a branch of the river Oder in the town Police, northwestern Poland.

Gmina Police is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, on the German border. Its seat is the town of Police, which lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin. The gmina covers an area of 251.42 square kilometres (97.1 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 41,417 (out of which the population of Police amounts to 34,284, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 7,133).

Police County (Polish: powiat policki, [pɔˈlʲit͡sɛ]) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, north-western Poland, on the Polish-German border. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Police, which lies 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin. The only other town in the county is Nowe Warpno, lying 29 km (18 mi) north-west of Police. The county covers an area of 664.16 square kilometres (256.4 sq mi). As of 2006 its total population is 64,147, out of which the population of Police is 34,284, that of Nowe Warpno is 1,170 and the rural population is 28,693.

Police (Polish: [pɔˈlʲit͡sɛ]; German: Pölitz) is a town in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northwestern Poland. It is the capital of Police County and one of the biggest towns of the Szczecin agglomeration. The town is situated on the Oder River and its estuary, south of the Szczecin Lagoon and the Bay of Pomerania. The centre of Police is situated about 15 kilometres (9 miles) north of the centre of Szczecin.

Łarpia (German: Larpe) is an eastern branch of Oder in the town of Police, Poland. The name of the river is an origin of the Łarpia Sail Festival.

The Port of Police [pɔˈlit͡sɛ] (in Polish generally Port Police) is a Polish seaport and deep water harbour in Police, Poland located on the west bank of the Oder River, off the Szczecin Lagoon. It is the fourth-busiest port in the country.In 2022, the cargo traffic in the seaport reached 1,212,000 tons, and it comprised 1% of all such traffic in Polish seaports. In 2021, to the port passed 253 ships with a gross tonnage of over 100.In January 2019 Port of Police and PKP have signed an agreement to create a direct railway link with the port to improve the delivery of the cargo. A direct track with accompanying infrastructure will be constructed from Police railway station to the seaport itself.The Port of Police has access to the Baltic Sea through the Szczecin Lagoon, Świna strait.

Siedliczka is a small river of the Wkrzańska Forest in northwestern Poland, near the town of Police.

Siedlice [ɕɛˈdlit͡sɛ] (German: Zedlitzfelde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Police, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border. Skolwin is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland situated on the left bank of the Oder river, north of Szczecin Old Town and Middle Town, and south of the town of Police. As of January 2011, it had a population of 3,265.Before 1945, when Szczecin (then Stettin) was a part of Germany, the German name of this suburb was Stettin-Scholwin (briefly, under Nazi rule, Stettin-Odermünde). In Skolwin, there is a power line crossing of the Odra river, which is part of 220 kV powerline Police-Morzyczyn. The association football club Świt Szczecin is based in Skolwin.

Wieńkowo [vjɛɲˈkɔvɔ] (German: Wenkendorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Police, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border.It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Police and 20 km (12 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin.
