Prawet (Thai: ประเวศ, pronounced [prā.wêːt]) is one of the 50 districts of Bangkok, Thailand. It is in the southeast. Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise) Bang Phli (Samut Prakan province), Bang Na, Phra Khanong, Suan Luang, Bang Kapi, Saphan Sung and Lat Krabang (Bangkok).

Pan-Asia International School (Thai: โรงเรียนนานาชาติแพนเอเซีย, RTGS: Rong Rian Nana Chat Paen Aesia), or PAIS, is an International School located in Prawet District, Bangkok, Thailand, and a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT). Established in 2004, PAIS provides international education built upon American standards with a strong emphasis on eastern culture to over 470 students representing more than 41 nations.PAIS is located in the heart of a rapidly growing area about 10 kilometers from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok's Pravet district, 20 kilometers from the city's center. PAIS features an auditorium with stage, two science laboratories, a music room, a swimming pool, a library/media center, an IT (Mac) lab, a covered basketball/volleyball court, a football pitch, fun playgrounds and a mini swimming pool for Kindergarten students.As Prawet district is a “suburban” location, it remains a green area and does not suffer from traffic congestion or air pollution nearly as much as the central part of the city. The school is located on a side street approximately 200 meters from the district’s main road Chalerm Prakiat Ratchikan Thi 9. PAIS uses an American educational curriculum up through grade 5, the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IBMYP) from Grade 6 - 8, and Diploma Program(IBDP) curriculum in grades 11 and 12. PAIS is owned by the not-for-profit Thai charitable organization Social Welfare Society Thailand. SWS promotes education through a number of projects across Thailand. In 2010, shortly after the last WASC visit, a 23 year management contract was awarded to Marmara Company, an educational management organization that manages three local schools. In 2017 SWS and Marmara Company mutually decided to terminate the managing contract and hand over the school to SWS.

In 2020, it had a total population of 87,676 people.The word "Prawet" is the shortened of "Prawet Burirom", a khlong (canal) dug through the area in the 19th century. The name mean "entrance to a blissful city".

Suan Luang Rama IX (Thai: สวนหลวง ร.9, pronounced [sǔə̯n lǔə̯ŋ rɔ̄ː kâːw]), also referred to as (King) Rama IX Park, is a public park in Bangkok's Prawet District. With an area of 500 rai (80 ha; 200 acres), it is the largest park in the city.The park was built to celebrate King Bhumibol Adulyadej's sixtieth birthday in 1987, and was opened by the King on 1 December that year. It features extensive botanical gardens, a lake, and a pavilion housing exhibits in honour of the King. The park is managed by the Suan Luang Rama 9 Foundation. The "Phanmai Ngam Aram Suan Luang Ror Kao" (Beautiful Flora in the Suan Luang Rama IX Park) fair is held annually here in December since 1987, the year it was founded.

Srinagarindra 38 station (Thai: สถานีศรีนครินทร์ 38, RTGS: Sathani Si Nakharin Sam Sip Paet, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sǐː ná(ʔ).kʰā.rīn sǎːm sìp pɛ̀ːt]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Yellow Line. The station is located on Srinagarindra Road in Prawet District, Bangkok and is named after Srinagarindra 38 Road which branches off from the main road. The station has four entrances. It opened on 3 June 2023 as part of trial operations on the line between Samrong and Hua Mak.
