Ogose Station

Ogose (越生町, Ogose-machi) is a town located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 January 2021, the town had an estimated population of 11,352 in 5038 households and a population density of 280 persons per km². The total area of the town is 40.39 square kilometres (15.59 sq mi). The town is famous for its Prunus mume orchards.

Sekai Mumei Senshi no Haka (世界無名戦士之墓), lit. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the World, is a cenotaph in Ogose, Saitama Japan.

Josai Junior College (城西短期大学, Jōsai Tanki Daigaku) is a private junior college in Sakado, Saitama, Japan. It was established in 1983 as a female-only college, and is attached to Josai University. It became coeducational from 2005.

Josai University (城西大学, Jōsai Daigaku) is a private university in Sakado, Saitama, Japan, established in 1965. The predecessor of the school, Jōsai Gakuen Middle School, later Jōsai High School, was founded in 1918. The university is operated by the Josai University Educational Corporation, which was founded by the 17th Minister of Finance, Mikio Mizuta (1905 – 1976). Mizuta was Minister of Finance from 1960 to 1962, and then served as the first chancellor of Josai. The university opened with a Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Science. The Mizuta Museum of Art opened in 1976, and the graduate school of Josai University was established in 1977. The Josai University Educational Corporation also operates Josai International University, founded in 1992.

Nihon Institute of Medical Science (日本医療科学大学, Nihon iryō kagaku daigaku) is a private university in Moroyama, Saitama, Japan, established in 2007. The Nihon Institute of Medical Science was established in 1918 as Josai Business School. In 1984, it was reorganized into the Josai College of Medical Arts & Sciences., a vocational college, and took its present name in 2007. It is located next to Josai University in neighboring Sakado, Saitama. The school has a Department of Radiological Technology, Department of Nursing, Department of Physical Therapy, Department of Occupational Therapy and Department of Clinical Engineering.

Koma Shrine (高麗神社, Koma Jinja) is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Hidaka, Saitama. The work "Koma", pronounced in Japanese as "Koryō" is the ancient Japanese name for Korea, specifically the ancient Korean kingdom of Goguryeo, and the main temple kami of this shrine is the deified Prince Go Yak'gwang (高若光), son of the last king of independent Goguryeo.

Ogura Castle (小倉城, Ogura-jō) was a Sengoku period Japanese castle located in what is now part of the town of Ranzan, Hiki District, Saitama, in the Kantō region of Japan. The site has been protected by the central government as a National Historic Site, since 2008.
