Braga (Maximinos, Sé e Cividade) is a civil parish in the municipality of Braga, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Maximinos, Sé and Cividade. The population in 2011 was 14,572, in an area of 2.57 km2.

The Roman Thermae of Maximinus (Portuguese: Termas Romanas de Maximinos), are the archaeological ruins of a monumental building and public baths, whose construction was integrated into the urban renewal of the civitas of Bracara Augusta (later Braga), the Roman provincial capital of Gallaecia. The large public/civic construction consisted of a building, housing the baths and a theatre, although the archaeological excavations continue.

Lomar e Arcos is a civil parish in the municipality of Braga, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Lomar and Arcos. The population in 2011 was 6,805, in an area of 4.01 km².

The D. Diogo de Sousa Museum is located in Braga, Portugal. The Museum was founded in 1918 and moved to the new house in 2007 June 29. The Museum is housed in a specially designed building in the center of what was the Roman City of Bracara Augusta. Its collection mostly comprises items from excavations that took place in Braga with a vast chronological and cultural period, from the Palaeolithic to the Middle Ages.

The Arch of the New Gate (Portuguese: Arco da Porta Nova), is a Baroque and Neoclassical arch, designed by André Soares in the late 18th century, in the civil parish of Sé, municipality of Braga, in northern Portugal. The triumphal arch which decorates the western entrance to the medieval wall of the city, was opened in 1512 and traditionally used to present the city's keys to dignitaries and celebrities.

The Image Museum or in Portuguese Museu da Imagem is located in Braga, Portugal and is dedicated to photography.The collection is one of the largest and most important in Portugal. It holds images, by both classic and contemporary photographers, and illustrates a wide range of subject matter, mainly historic photos from Braga. The museum opened on April 25, 1999, and is close to Arco da Porta Nova, in a building from the 19th century and a tower, from the Braga Castle.

The Medina Museum is located in Braga, Portugal, in the same building of the Pius XII Museum The collection comprises 83 oil paintings and 21 drawings of the naturalist painter Henrique Medina. Among the collection there are many portraits, still life and landscapes.The museum was inaugurated on 21 June 1984.Henrique Medina (1901-1988) was born in Porto where he graduated in art. He also studied in Paris, Rome and London. His work is represented in many different museums in Portugal and other countries.

The Saint Paul Church in Portuguese, Igreja de São Paulo is a Portuguese 16th-century church in Braga, Portugal, dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle of Jesus. The church was built by the Jesuits for their College, in the time of the Archbishop Bartholomew of Braga, with a pure simple facade which is in contrast to its luxurious baroque interior with a magnificent wood carving work in the altars. It is currently integrated with the Seminar of Saint Peter and Saint Paul and with the Pius XII Museum.

The Pius XII Museum (in Portuguese: Museu Pio XII) is located in Braga, Portugal, in the same building of the Museum Medina, as the name from the Pope Pius XII.The collection of the museum comprise Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age implements, Pre-historic and Luso-Roman pottery. In the museum is a Peristyle part of a Roman Villa in the original location.

The Cathedral of Braga (Portuguese: Sé de Braga) is a Roman Catholic church in the northern city of Braga, Portugal. Due to its long history and artistic significance, it is also one of the most important buildings in the country. It is the seat of the Archdiocese of Braga and of the Primate Archbishop of Portugal and Spain. The cathedral has been classified as National Monument since 1910.
