Blackalls Park railway station

Blackalls Park is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie, Greater Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia to the immediate north-west of the town of Toronto on a bay west of Lake Macquarie.

Toronto High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Toronto, a suburb in the City of Lake Macquarie, in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia.Established in 1962, the school enrolled 950 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom 15 percent identified as Indigenous Australians and four percent were from a language background other than English. The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education; the principal is Mark McConville.

The Sydney-Newcastle railway line runs through Fassifern railway station, which is a major station along the line. Toronto railway station is a former railway station located in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Toronto, the terminus of the former Fassifern - Toronto branch line in New South Wales, Australia. The station opened in c. 1891 as a private tourist tramway and was subsequently acquired by the NSW Government Railways in 1910. The station closed on 11 March 1990. The line and station is still largely intact. The station building is an example of heritage re-use, now in use by the Lake Macquarie and District Historical Society.

Fassifern railway station is located on the Main Northern line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the City of Lake Macquarie suburb of Fassifern, opening in 1888.The station has three platforms, although only two are in use, the third being the former branch-line platform for the Toronto line that closed in 1990. North of the line is a balloon loop for the Newstan Colliery that is served by Southern Shorthaul Railroad hauled trains. In 1984, a footbridge was installed as part of the electrification of the line. It was replaced in 1994 when lifts were added.

Kilaben Bay is a suburb of the city of Lake Macquarie in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. The Aboriginal people, in this area, the Awabakal, were the first people of this land. It is named for the bay of the same name that lies to the south of the suburb. The suburb's western boundary is heavily forested. Kilaben Bay is one of many suburbs that ring Lake Macquarie, Lake Munmorah, and Tuggerah Lake. Kilaben Bay is part of the West Ward of the City of Lake Macquarie local government area. For telephone call charges, Kilaben Bay is within the local call zone of the City of Newcastle.

Booragul railway station is located on the Main Northern line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the City of Lake Macquarie suburb of Booragul opening on 24 October 1926.The original station buildings were extensively damaged in the 1989 Newcastle earthquake, resulting in their demolition and replacement with the current structures. A housing development west of the station is currently under construction, however, there is no convenient access to the railway station, and will likely do little to increase patronage (which averaged at 110 passengers per day in 2013).
