621 17th Street, formerly known as the First Interstate Tower South, is a high-rise building in Denver, Colorado, United States. The building was completed in 1957, and rises 28 floors and 385 feet (117 m) in height. The building stands as the 20th-tallest building in Denver and Colorado. It also stood as the tallest building in the city at the time of its 1957 completion, and held that distinction for eleven years until it was surpassed by the 420-foot (128 m) Brooks Towers in 1968. 621 17th Street is considered to be one of the earliest modern skyscrapers in Denver.At the time of its completion, 621 17th Street was known as "First National Bank Building", its primary tenant. After First Interstate merged with Wells Fargo in 1996, the building's official name became its address. The 434-foot (132 m) First Interstate Tower North, now known as 633 17th Street, was built adjacent to First Interstate Tower South in 1974. The two buildings together form the First of Denver Plaza. The building with the First of Denver logo can be seen in the opening credits of the television show Dynasty.

The Paramount Theatre is a concert venue in Denver, Colorado, located on Glenarm Place, near Denver's famous 16th Street Mall. The venue has a seating capacity of 1,870 but is a popular destination for large acts looking for a smaller concert setting. With spelling as Paramount Theater, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

1600 Glenarm Place is a 384 ft (117m) tall skyscraper in Denver, Colorado. Originally constructed in 1967 as the Security Life Building - it has since been converted into a multi-tenant luxury apartment complex. On the top floor of this building many years ago; there was a restaurant called Top Of The Rockies. The exterior of the building used to hold a separate elevator shaft for a glass elevator which served the restaurant. The restaurant has been gone for many years. After operating for many years as an office building; times were about to change. In 2006, The Security Life Building underwent a major conversion from office to residential use. 1600 Glenarm Place is in the heart of Downtown Denver. The high-rise sits on the corner of 16th Street Mall and Glenarm Place, next to the Denver Pavilions. The building houses 333 units, with a large scale amenity overhaul having been completed in 2011, to include a fitness center, movie theater, large outdoor terrace, demonstration kitchen, conference room and game room. It shares the title as 21st tallest building in Denver with two other buildings. It is currently owned by the Northland Investment Corporation, under a subsidiary - Northland Glenarm, LLC after previous owner Plant Holdings NA, Inc. sold the building in 2018.

After First Interstate merged with Wells Fargo in 1996, the building's address became its official name. First Interstate Tower North was built adjacent to the pre-existing First Interstate Tower South, now known as 621 17th Street, which rises 386 feet (118 m) in height. The Brinker Collegiate Institute, at 1725-1727 Tremont Pl. in the Central Business District of Denver, Colorado, was a private school established in 1877. Its building was built in 1880 to serve as the permanent home of the school, and did so until 1889. From 1889 to 1904 it was modified and opened as a hotel, the Richelieu Hotel at first and then as The Navarre. After 1914 it served as a restaurant and a private club.It is a four-story building, about 50 by 100 feet (15 m × 30 m) in plan, Late Victorian in style. The building's architect is unknown, although it was "planned" by Denver architect F.E. Edbrooke, who later designed the Brown Palace Hotel built in 1892, just across the street.Its basement steam room was once connected by rail tunnel to the Brown Palace Hotel, which could deliver coal and allow hidden passage, although by 1976 the passageway had been sealed off.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 as "Brinker Collegiate Institute". And, as "Navarre Building", it was designated Denver Landmark #470 in 1971. It is also included in the Downtown Denver Historic District designated by the City of Denver in 2000.

707 17th Street, formerly known as the MCI Building and Arco Tower, and now known as the Jacobs Building is a skyscraper in Denver, Colorado. The building was completed in 1981, and rises 42 floors and 522 feet (159 m) in height. The building stands as the seventh-tallest building in Denver as of 2018. It also stood as the tallest building in the city at the time of its 1981 completion, and held that distinction for two years until it was surpassed by the 709-foot (216 m) 1801 California Street in 1983.707 17th Street was known as MCI Plaza until 2005; MCI Inc. filed for bankruptcy in 2002, and the company was subsequently acquired by Verizon Communications on February 14, 2005. Prior to its bankruptcy, MCI occupied the uppermost commercial floors of 707 17th Street, and served as the structure's primary tenant. However, even before MCI's acquirement, 707 17th Street stood partially vacant, and was nearing a 50% vacancy rate in 2002. This ended on September 30, 2002, when architectural, engineering and construction management firm Carter & Burgess (acquired in 2007 by Jacobs Engineering Group) signed a deal to lease 86,000 square feet (8,000 m2) of office space. This deal was one of the largest office transactions in Denver in 2006. Jacobs has merged with CH2M Hill and has since merged into their headquarters in south Denver and no longer have their signage on the building. While the upper 22 floors of the building contain office space, the lowest 20 floors of 707 17th Street contain a hotel that was originally known as the Denver Marriott City Center, but was renamed the Hilton Denver City Center on December 1, 2017. The hotel contains 613 guest rooms and suites. As the building consists of both commercial and hotel space, it is classified as a mixed use skyscraper.707 17th Street has a somewhat unusual "setfront" design, rather than the usual setback found in other Denver skyscrapers such as 1801 California Street. The building bulges out and becomes wider at its 21st floor, and this widening is described as a "setfront". The narrower region at the bottom of the building is home to the Hilton hotel, whereas the upper, wider floors contain most of the commercial space. The building's façade is composed of black glass, and it is an example of international-style "black box" architecture.

United Western Financial Center is a 357 ft (109m) tall high-rise office building located at 700 17th Street in the city Denver, Colorado. It was completed in 1961 and has 24 floors. It is the 28th tallest building in Denver. It was designed by the architecture firm Raymond Harry Ervin & Associates in the modernist style.

Republic Plaza is a skyscraper in Denver, Colorado. Rising 717 feet (219 m), the building currently stands as the tallest building in the city of Denver and the entire Rocky Mountain region of the United States. It was built in 1984, and contains 56 floors, the majority of which are used as office space. Republic Plaza currently stands as the 137th-tallest building in the United States. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and built of reinforced concrete clad in Sardinian granite, Republic Plaza includes 1,200,000 square feet (110,000 m2) of office space, and three retail levels containing shops, restaurants, and service businesses. The building has a 3-story marble lobby that features a quarterly "Art in Public Places" program of Colorado and regional artists. On October 27, 2007, the building's top 20 stories were lit in purple with giant white letters "C" and "R" to celebrate the Colorado Rockies' World Series debut.The Republic Plaza was built by PCL Construction Services, Inc. The Republic Plaza is the home to the American Lung Association in Colorado's Anthem Fight for Air Climb. The event is held the last Sunday in February and is a 56-story stair climb to the top of the building.
