Marine Park Station (マリンパーク駅, Marin Pāku eki) is a railway station on the Rokko Island Line in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, operated by Kobe New Transit. It is the final stop for southbound trains originating at Sumiyoshi Station.

Rokkō Island (六甲アイランド, Rokkō Airando) is a man-made island in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, Hyōgo, Japan. It is located in the southeast region of the Port of Kobe. The island has a 3.4 by 2 km (2.1 by 1.2 mi) rectangular shape, and covers 5.80 km2 (2.24 sq mi). The residential area of the island, featuring apartment buildings—many with views of the sea—and single family homes, is located in the center of the island. A green belt separates the residential area from industrial and port activities. The two international schools located on the island attract many foreign residents to the island.

Canadian Academy (CA; カネディアン・アカデミイ Kanedian Akademii), founded in 1913, is an independent pre-K – grade 12 international school in Kobe, Japan. The day and boarding school consists of an elementary school, middle school, and high school all located on the campus on Rokkō Island, a man-made island. The school is approved by the Japanese Ministry of Education and accredited by the U.S. based Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The school is certified to award both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and U.S. high school diplomas.

DSK International (DSKI; 神戸ドイツ学院 Kobe Doitsu Gakuin) is an international school on Rokkō Island, in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, Japan. DSK International is an International IB school in Kobe for ages 2 to 12. The school provides curriculum in three languages: German, English and Japanese in two branches (German and International). DSK International offers three programmes for learners ages 2-12: Playgroup, Early Years and Primary Years Programme (PYP).

The Asia One Center (アジアワンセンター) is a 43,000 m2 (460,000 sq ft) tall skyscraper located at Center of Rokkō Island, Kobe City, Japan. The 31-storey building was previously named Procter and Gamble Technical Center and was the Asia headquarters of Procter and Gamble Group. Asia One Center is one of top ten skyscrapers and a landmark building of Kobe City. The Asia One Center is located at the heart of Rokko Island with total floor area of 43,000 m2 (460,000 sq ft). The building is split into several sections: At lobby level, it has a world class seminar room, the forth to eleventh floors are a research and development center, and the top section is the business offices.The nearby train station, two luxury hotels at next door (Kobe Bay Sheraton and Hotel Plaza Kobe) and limousine bus directly to Kansai Airport provide the ultimate convenience for this building. The surroundings of Asia One Center also include shopping malls, high-end residential towers, international schools, university, hospital and local parks.

Kobe City Koiso Memorial Museum of Art (神戸市立小磯記念美術館, Kobe Shiritsu Koiso Kinen Bijutsukan) is an art museum that opened on Rokkō Island in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan in 1992. The collection includes some 2,500 works by Koiso Ryōhei, as well as those of artists associated with the yōga painter and the city.

Sub Area Activity Hanshin (Hanshin Kichitai) or also known as Hanshin Base Corps, is one of the base corps under the Kure District Force of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. The place was renamed from Osaka Base Corps. The headquarters is located at 37 Uozakihamamachi, Higashinada-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. The abbreviation is Hanki. It guards and monitors Osaka Bay and Harima-nada Sea.

Sumiyoshi Station (住吉駅, Sumiyoshi-eki, station number: HS-24) is a passenger railway station located in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by the private transportation company Hanshin Electric Railway.

The Higashi Kobe Bridge (東神戸大橋, Higashi Kōbe Ōhashi) is a cable-stayed bridge in Kobe, Japan, which opened in 1992. It has a main span of 485 meters and spans a waterway between to Artificial islands part of the Kobe-Osaka bay. The bridge is a part of the Hanshin Expressway, which also is cradled by the Tempozan Higashi Bridge, downstream of the Higashi Kobe Bridge. The bridge is also a part of the Bayshore route 5 expressway of Kobe, which is also a part of the Industrial Ring Road of Kobe. The bridge carries two decks of roadway (3 lanes on each deck) (6 in total), and the bridge is 168 meters high and the maximum clearance is 32 meters to the water. The bridge was built by the Hanshin Expressway Public Corporation.
