Aloe Plaza is a small park and plaza in St Louis, directly in front of Union Station; it is the western terminus of the St. Louis Gateway Mall.Two city blocks in size, it is bounded by Market, Chestnut, 18th, and 20th streets, although an extension west of 20th Street is being built (as of 2022).Construction of the plaza was enabled by a 1923 bond issue of 87 million dollars (about $954 million in 2023 dollars). The bond issue was championed by St Louis politician Louis P. Aloe, for whom the plaza is named.

St. Louis Union Station is a National Historic Landmark and former train station in St. Louis, Missouri. At its 1894 opening, the station was the largest in the world that had tracks and passenger service areas all on one level. Traffic peaked at 100,000 people a day in the 1940s. The last Amtrak passenger train left the station in 1978. In the 1980s, it was renovated as a hotel, shopping center, and entertainment complex. The 2010s and 2020s saw more renovation and expansion of entertainment and office capacity. The current hotel portion of the station is currently a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.An adjacent station serves the light-rail MetroLink Red and Blue Lines, which run under the station in the Union Station subway tunnel. The city's intercity train station sits a quarter-mile to the south, serving MetroLink, Amtrak, and Greyhound Bus.

The Robert E. Lee Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri, also known as Auditorium Hotel, Evangeline Home, or Railton Residence, is a Romanesque style building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.It was designed in 1927 by architect Alonzo H. Gentry and was built during 1927–28. It is a 14-story building with a cast concrete structural framework and red brick walls.It was originally opened as the Robert E. Hotel. Purchased by the Salvation Army in 1939 for $1.Later, as Evangeline Booth Home, it provided housing for wives separated from their husbands in active duty in the military during World War II.Named the "Railton Residence" in the 1970s and provided low-income housing.Closed in 2008 for renovations.Its renovation was completed in 2010 and since then it has served as a Salvation Army residence.

The Metropolitan Police Department of the City of St. Louis (also known as the SLMPD or Metro) is the primary law enforcement agency for the U.S. city of St. Louis. According to the Mapping Police Violence dataset, SLMPD has the highest police use of deadly force per capita. The SLMPD union has strongly resisted attempts to establish independent oversight of police misconduct. When Kimberly Gardner, the top prosecutor in St. Louis, sought to establish a unit within her office to independently investigate police misconduct, the leader of the SLMPD union said Gardner should be removed "by force or by choice."

Union Station is a St. Louis MetroLink station. It is partially located underneath historic St. Louis Union Station and primarily serves the Downtown West area, including CITYPARK Stadium and the St. Louis Aquarium. The station is located below 18th Street at its intersection with Clark Avenue near the St. Louis Post Office and utilizes the former baggage tunnel at Union Station.In 2013, Metro's Arts in Transit program commissioned the work Spring Forth by Jim Gallucci for installation near the station. The stainless steel sculpture depicts fantastical plant forms that leap and arch from the grassy embankment, celebrating the vitality that the MetroLink system brings to the St. Louis area.

The Old Weber Implement and Automobile Company, at 1900 Locust St. in St. Louis, Missouri, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.It is a two-part commercial block building, and has also been known as the Schoelhorn-Albrecht Machine Company Building.

CityPark, stylized as CITYPARK, is a 22,500-seat soccer-specific stadium in St. Louis, Missouri. It is the home of St. Louis City SC, the city's Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise. The stadium is next to Union Station in the city's Downtown West neighborhood, and was completed in November 2022, ahead of the 2023 MLS season. The stadium is also the home of St. Louis City SC 2 ahead of the 2023 MLS Next Pro season.

General Fibre Company, also known as the General Moulding Company, was an American manufacturer of a wide variety of fiber and plastic molded products. The company was known for its popular Ariduk brand of duck and goose decoys. During World War II, in partnership with the International Hat Company, General Fibre was converted into a war factory for the production of military sun helmets. Conjointly, the companies were among the largest manufacturers and suppliers of American military pressed fiber sun helmets during World War II. In the post-war period, the company made an early entry into the emerging plastic injection molding industry, making the transition in material production from fiber to plastic goods. During the 1960s, the company designed and patented advances in methods of producing pulp articles in the plastics industry. Concurrently, General Fibre became a supplier to Ford Motor Company, in the manufacture of plastic interiors. The General Fibre Company closed in 1985.

The Centenary Methodist Episcopal Church, South in St. Louis, Missouri is a Gothic Revival church that was built in 1869. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.The building is a two-story limestone church linked with a three-story office/service building. It was designed by Baltimore architect Thomas Dixon and its construction was supervised by local architect Jerome B. Legg. A three-story brick and stone addition to the west was added in 1924, designed by St. Louis architects Mauran, Russell & Crowell.

Memorial Plaza, established in 1932, is in the Downtown West neighborhood of St. Louis. The park contains memorials honoring St. Louis veterans of World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. On the eastern edge of the park is the Court of Honor containing monuments listing St. Louisans who lost their lives in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. It extends from 13th to 18th Street between Market and Chestnut and is surrounded by Union Station, Peabody Opera House, and the Soldier's Memorial Military Museum.

The Weber Implement and Automobile Company Building, at 1815 Locust St. in St. Louis, Missouri, was built in 1919. It was designed by architect Preston J. Bradshaw. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It is a three-story Classical Revival-style building.It has also been known as Tire Mart Inc..

The Enterprise Center is an 18,096-seat arena located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Its primary tenant is the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, but it is also used for other functions, such as NCAA basketball, NCAA hockey, concerts, professional wrestling and more. In a typical year, the facility hosts about 175 events. Industry trade publication Pollstar has previously ranked Enterprise Center among the top ten arenas worldwide in tickets sold to non-team events, but the facility has since fallen into the upper sixties, as of 2017.The arena opened in 1994 as the Kiel Center. It was known as the Savvis Center from 2000 to 2006, and Scottrade Center from 2006 to 2018. On May 21, 2018, the St. Louis Blues and representatives of Enterprise Holdings, based in St. Louis, announced that the naming rights had been acquired by Enterprise and that the facility's name, since July 1, 2018, adopted its current name.
