Bosch, Netherlands

Heikant is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1.5 km southeast of Budel. Together with the hamlets of Meemortel and Bosch to the north, Heikant has a population of about 420. According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 22 houses and had a population of 140 in the middle of the 19th century. Heikant has no place name signs and consists of about 80 houses and 125 industrial buildings. Heikant should not be confused with the former hamlet with the same name near Gastel, 4 km to the northwest, or with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.

Budel is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, 25 km outside Eindhoven. Kempen Airport is located near Budel.

Kempen Airport or Budel Airport (Dutch: Vliegveld Kempen), also just called Budel after the nearby town, is a general aviation airport in the south-east of the Netherlands located 5 NM (9.3 km; 5.8 mi) west of Weert and near the border with Belgium. Its main runway, 03/21, is a 1,199 m (3,934 ft) long asphalt runway. There is a second runway for microlight aircraft only, located next to the main runway, and is 600 m (1,969 ft) long. The airport opened in 1970, initially only with a grass runway. An asphalt runway was created in 1991 of 930 m (3,051 ft), which was expanded later to its current length. Approach and runway lighting followed, making the airport suitable for IFR flights. With around 80,000 movements (a movement being a takeoff or landing) a year, it is amongst the busiest general aviation airports in the Netherlands. International flights are allowed to and from the airport and it is used extensively by business aircraft, accounting for 80% of all aircraft movements.

It is located in the municipality of Cranendonck, about 1 km west of Budel, and a few hundred metres from the Belgian border.In the middle of the 19th century, the hamlet had a population of 140. Currently, together with neighbouring Berg, the hamlet has 355 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in 1225 as "tegen die toym", and means burial hill. Toom has no place name signs, and consists of about 70 houses.

Hamont-Achel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦaːmɔnt ˈɑxəl]; Limburgish: Haëmet-Achel) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. It was founded in 1977 by a fusion of the city Hamont and the village Achel. On January 1, 2020, Hamont-Achel had a total population of 14.294. The total area is 43.66 km² which gives a population density of 315 inhabitants per km². The municipality houses the Trappist Abbey of Achel, part of which is Brouwerij de Achelse Kluis, one of the 11 Trappist breweries.
