Quesnell Bridge

Whitemud Creek is a tributary of the North Saskatchewan River in central Alberta, Canada. For part of its length, the creek flows through the City of Edmonton, separating neighbourhoods in the Riverbend and Terwillegar Heights areas from other neighbourhoods on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River. Blackmud Creek flows into Whitemud Creek near the northwest corner of the neighborhood of Twin Brooks. For the majority of the creek's area in the city is considered to be a protected area. This also includes other protected areas such as Larch Sanctuary, which is a 59-acre (24 ha) reserve south of 23rd avenue which officially opened in the spring of 2017 Whitemud Creek acts as an important wildlife corridor to allow for free movement of species around Edmonton. The water level varies from 5.40 to 0.83 meters (17.7 to 2.7 ft). Upstream of the river there are various wildlife underpasses as various roads dissect this landscape, this keeps the creek contiguous, the most notable of which is that at the Anthony Henday Drive, where there is space for both animals to travel and pedestrians.

The Edmonton Radial Railway Society (ERRS) restores and operates historic streetcars in Fort Edmonton Park and across the High Level Bridge. It is named after the Edmonton Radial Railway, which began service in 1908 and later became Edmonton Transit Service.

The Edmonton Alberta Temple is the 67th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The temple was the second to be built in Alberta; the first was built in Cardston in 1923. The temple serves about 15,700 members in the area. The exterior of the temple is white granite and has a single spire topped by a statue of the angel Moroni.

Parkview School is an elementary junior high school located in the Parkview neighbourhood of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The Fort Edmonton Footbridge is a pedestrian bridge that crosses the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Led by CH2M Hill and designed by HFKS Architects, it is the city's first suspension bridge. The bridge is located southwest of Fort Edmonton Park and connects to the existing multi-use trail system with the new park land on the west side of the river. It officially opened on June 18, 2011.

The Edmonton Blues Festival (formerly Edmonton Labatt Blues Fest) is an annual blues music festival in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which was first held in 1999. The festival runs for three days (a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) in mid-August at the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park. In 2008, the festival was the recipient of the 'Keeping The Blues Alive Award' from the Blues Foundation, based in Memphis, Tennessee.

Interstellar Rodeo was an annual three-day outdoor music event held the last weekend of July in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, established in 2012 and held at the Heritage Amphitheatre within Hawrelak Park. From 2015 to 2017, Six Shooter Records also had an Interstellar Rodeo in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The final Edmonton Interstellar Rodeo was in 2019. The festival showcases performers from numerous genres. Notable performers to date include Blue Rodeo, Randy Newman and Hawksley Workman in 2012, and Alabama Shakes, Steve Earle and the Dukes, Sarah Harmer, Serena Ryder and Shout Out Out Out Out in 2013.

The Freewill Shakespeare Festival (known as the River City Shakespeare Festival from 1998–2009) is a Shakespeare festival in Edmonton, Alberta, produced by the Edmonton-based Free Will Players every summer from late-June to mid-July. Its performances take place in the 1,000-seat Heritage Amphitheater in Hawrelak Park. The Festival includes full-scale professional productions of two plays by William Shakespeare; as well as Camp Shakespeare, a summer drama camp for youth ages 8–16. Founded in 1989, the festival was renamed the Freewill Shakespeare Festival in 2008.Due to significant damage to Freewill's traditional venue at the Heritage Amphitheatre, the festival's 2014 season took place inside the Myer Horowitz Theatre in the University of Alberta's Students' Union Building (8900 114 Street).

William Hawrelak Park (or simply Hawrelak Park) is a park in Edmonton, Alberta. Formerly known as Mayfair Park, it was initially going to be developed into a 500-lot subdivision; however, when the Strathcona Land Syndicate forfeited their taxes the city obtained the title for the land in 1922. This land lay unused until 1954, when Mayor William Hawrelak proposed to create a 350-acre (1.4 km2) riverside park in this area as it would “fit into the overall park development of the City along the lines of the zoo, and the golf courses and other picnic areas”. The digging of the man-made lakes began in 1959 and later was completed in 1964 but had few facilities. The official opening day of Mayfair Park was on Dominion Day, July 1, 1967. It was renamed in 1982 for Hawrelak, who died in office in 1975 while serving as mayor of Edmonton.
