The Mount Nemo Conservation Area in Burlington, Ontario is a conservation area owned and operated by Conservation Halton. It is popular with rock climbers in the Greater Toronto Area and the Golden Horseshoe, along with nearby Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area. Its five kilometers of hiking trails connect with the Bruce Trail.

Elsie MacGill Secondary School (EMSS) is a public secondary school located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. Elsie MacGill is a part of the Halton District School Board, and as of 2022 educates approximately 500 students. It was opened in 2021. It is named after Elsie MacGill, the world's first woman to earn an aeronautical engineering degree. EMSS offers a STEM program called I-STEM, also offered at Aldershot School.

The Mattamy National Cycling Centre is a track cycling facility in Milton, Ontario, Canada built for the 2015 Pan American Games. During the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games the venue was known as the Cisco Milton Pan Am / Parapan Am Velodrome.

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School (formerly known as Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School) is an educational Catholic high school in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The 191,000 square foot building was built by the Halton Catholic District School Board in 2013.The school was originally named after the late Jean Vanier, a Canadian Catholic philosopher turned theologian, humanitarian and the founder of L’Arche. In June 2020, however, the Halton Catholic District School Board with approval from Douglas Crosby, Bishop of Hamilton, renamed the school for St. Francis Xavier following sexual misconduct allegations surrounding Jean Vanier.The school mascot is the StFX Knight. Extra curricular student members (athletics, clubs, etc.) known as Knights.

Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School, is located in the northern area of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, at 3040 Tim Dobbie Drive. It is an English school in the Halton District School Board that as of September 2017 serves approximately 1600 grade 9-12 students. In its first year, Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School served approximately 600 students in grades 9–10. The school is named for Special Olympics pioneer Frank Hayden.

CJXY's studios are located on Main Street West (next to Highway 403) in Hamilton, while its transmitter is located atop the Niagara Escarpment near Burlington.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School' is a public Catholic secondary school located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. St. Kateri Tekakwitha is a part of the Halton Catholic District School Board. It was opened in September 2022. It is named after Kateri Tekakwitha, a Catholic saint.The school hopes to offer the International Baccalaureate program beginning in 2026.

CJML-FM is a radio station in Milton, Ontario broadcasting on 101.3 MHz. Owned by Local Radio Lab Inc., the station covers the immediate Milton area from its transmitter at X. The CRTC first received an application from My Broadcasting Corporation on May 27, 2015. On August 2, 2017, the station was finally able to sign on the air. It also receives co-channel interference east of Milton due to CJSA-FM in Toronto also broadcasting on the same frequency and also CKOT-FM in Tillsonburg. On April 8, 2020 the CRTC approved an application by My Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) to increase the average effective radiated power (ERP) from 228 to 480 watts (maximum ERP from 950 to 2,000 watts) and by changing the orientation of its directional antenna. CJML-FM will remain at 101.3 MHz. On June 25, 2021, the CRTC approved the sale of CJML, as well as its sister stations CIMA-FM/Alliston and CKMO-FM/Orangeville, to Local Radio Lab.

Mississauga—Erindale was a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 2007. It was created in 2003 from parts of Mississauga Centre and Mississauga West ridings. It consisted of the part of the City of Mississauga bounded by a line drawn from the southwestern city limit northeast along Britannia Road West, southeast along Erin Mills Parkway, northeast along Eglinton Avenue West, southeast along Mavis Road, southwest along the Queensway West, west along the Credit River and southwest along Dundas Street West to the city limit. In 2018, the district was dissolved into Mississauga—Erin Mills, Mississauga Centre and Mississauga—Lakeshore.

Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School is a coeducational Catholic high school in Burlington, Ontario Canada. It was founded in 1989 by the Halton Catholic District School Board and enrols students from the 9th to 12th grades. However, many grade 12 graduates return for an optional 5th year of secondary school. Notre Dame is home to Extended French and 5 Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs in Business Leadership, Green Industries, Computer Engineering, Culinary Arts, and Manufacturing. It is also a hub for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Its students compete annually in mock trials, model UN, School REACH, Euclid Math, Halton Skills, and many more local and provincial academic events. Notre Dame promotes and supports all post-secondary pathways—university, college, apprenticeship, and workplace. The school community hosts an annual Arts Night, School Play, Business Leadership Conference, and most recently a STEAM Conference. There are plenty of clubs and activities for students to participate in as well as Student Council, Prefect, Physical Education Leadership, Business Leadership, and STEAM sponsored events. Students are also supported academically with after-school math help, a literacy course to assist with preparations for the OSSLT (Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test), credit rescue, and the L2L (Licence to Learn) student, peer tutoring initiative. Equity and inclusion and social justice programs include Best Buddies, MIH (Make it Happen), the annual Angel Campaign, Halton Food For Thought Breakfast Program, May-Giving, PINK Day in support of the Terry Fox Foundation, the ECO squad, the Social Justice student activists, and Irish Cares. Health and wellness, bullying prevention and intervention, faith formation, parent engagement, student voice, social work, child and youth counselling, and an active Catholic School Council of parents are also a large part of the Notre Dame ethos.

Rattlesnake Point is an eco-tourism area located in Milton, Ontario, Canada and is owned and operated by Conservation Halton. Spanning roughly one hundred square kilometres across and near the Niagara Escarpment in Halton Region, the Rattlesnake Point area is home to many golf courses, country markets and equestrian training and boarding facilities. It is a popular scouting area.As urban sprawl continues to increase in Southern Ontario, new housing developments in Milton have begun to encroach upon Rattlesnake Point. Land once deemed off-limits because of its relatively difficult accessibility and seemingly untouchable status as a United Nations Biosphere-protected area is being sought after for its prime real estate value as an underdeveloped and environmentally pristine region near the core of one of Canada's most dense urban areas. Rattlesnake Point is often visited by cyclists, hikers and climbers due to the array of beautiful caves and cliffs. Rattlesnake Point receives its name from the snake-like path cut by glaciers along the edges of the Niagara Escarpment, rather than from the Massassauga Rattlesnake.
