Burlington Executive Airport (ICAO: CZBA) is a small, privately operated general aviation registered aerodrome in rural Burlington, Ontario west of Toronto. The possible closure of Buttonville Municipal Airport is expected to lead to an increase in traffic.

CJXY-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 107.9 FM and serving the Hamilton, Ontario market, licensed to the suburb of Burlington. The station broadcasts an alternative-leaning active rock format as Y108. CJXY's studios are located on Main Street West (next to Highway 403) in Hamilton, while its transmitter is located atop the Niagara Escarpment near Burlington.

The Mattamy National Cycling Centre is a track cycling facility in Milton, Ontario, Canada built for the 2015 Pan American Games. During the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games the venue was known as the Cisco Milton Pan Am / Parapan Am Velodrome.

Rattlesnake Point is an eco-tourism area located in Milton, Ontario, Canada and is owned and operated by Conservation Halton. Spanning roughly one hundred square kilometres across and near the Niagara Escarpment in Halton Region, the Rattlesnake Point area is home to many golf courses, country markets and equestrian training and boarding facilities. It is a popular scouting area.As urban sprawl continues to increase in Southern Ontario, new housing developments in Milton have begun to encroach upon Rattlesnake Point. Land once deemed off-limits because of its relatively difficult accessibility and seemingly untouchable status as a United Nations Biosphere-protected area is being sought after for its prime real estate value as an underdeveloped and environmentally pristine region near the core of one of Canada's most dense urban areas. Rattlesnake Point is often visited by cyclists, hikers and climbers due to the array of beautiful caves and cliffs. Rattlesnake Point receives its name from the snake-like path cut by glaciers along the edges of the Niagara Escarpment, rather than from the Massassauga Rattlesnake.

Halton was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1988 before being abolished in an electoral district redistribution, and again from 1997 to 2015, when it was again abolished in another electoral district redistribution. When it was last contested in 2011, its population was 203,437, of whom 115,255 were eligible electors.

Elsie MacGill Secondary School (EMSS) is a public secondary school located in Milton, Ontario, Canada. Elsie MacGill is a part of the Halton District School Board, and as of 2022 educates approximately 500 students. It was opened in 2021. It is named after Elsie MacGill, the world's first woman to earn an aeronautical engineering degree. EMSS offers a STEM program called I-STEM, also offered at Aldershot School.

Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School, is located in the northern area of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, at 3040 Tim Dobbie Drive. It is an English school in the Halton District School Board that as of September 2017 serves approximately 1600 grade 9-12 students. In its first year, Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School served approximately 600 students in grades 9–10. The school is named for Special Olympics pioneer Frank Hayden.

Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School is a coeducational Catholic high school in Burlington, Ontario Canada. It was founded in 1989 by the Halton Catholic District School Board and enrols students from the 9th to 12th grades. However, many grade 12 graduates return for an optional 5th year of secondary school. Notre Dame is home to Extended French and 5 Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs in Business Leadership, Green Industries, Computer Engineering, Culinary Arts, and Manufacturing. It is also a hub for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Its students compete annually in mock trials, model UN, School REACH, Euclid Math, Halton Skills, and many more local and provincial academic events. Notre Dame promotes and supports all post-secondary pathways—university, college, apprenticeship, and workplace. The school community hosts an annual Arts Night, School Play, Business Leadership Conference, and most recently a STEAM Conference. St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School (formerly known as Jean Vanier Catholic Secondary School) is an educational Catholic high school in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The 191,000 square foot building was built by the Halton Catholic District School Board in 2013.The school was originally named after the late Jean Vanier, a Canadian Catholic philosopher turned theologian, humanitarian and the founder of L’Arche. In June 2020, however, the Halton Catholic District School Board with approval from Douglas Crosby, Bishop of Hamilton, renamed the school for St. Francis Xavier following sexual misconduct allegations surrounding Jean Vanier.The school mascot is the StFX Knight. Extra curricular student members (athletics, clubs, etc.) known as Knights.

Crawford Lake (Wyandot: Kionywarihwaen) is a lake near the community of Campbellville, in the town of Milton, Regional Municipality of Halton, Ontario, Canada. It is located within Crawford Lake Conservation Area, a Regionally Environmentally Sensitive Area, an Ontario Area of Natural and Scientific Interest, and part of the Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve.The primary inflow to the lake is an unnamed creek. Crawford Lake is meromictic, which means it has sequentially deposited seasonal sediment laminations called varves at the bottom; these allow for accurate dating of sediment cores and make Crawford Lake a prime site for archeological and geochemical studies.

M.M. Robinson High School is a high school located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. It is administered by the Halton District School Board. There are approx. 1200 students attending MMR with programs addressing all Pathways. Founded in 1963, the school is named after the founder of the British Empire Games, Melville Marks Robinson. In fall 2018, staff and students from Lester B. Pearson High School were transferred to the school as LBP had closed.
