Albion Mill is a former industrial building in Manchester, United Kingdom. It occupies the site of a former cotton mill and ironworks. John Hetherington & Sons made textile machinery in Ancoats. The company was founded in 1830 and as it expanded acquired the site of J. and J. L. Gray's Ancoats Mill, and other works on Pollard Street where around 1856 it established the Vulcan Works. The company moved to the Union Iron Works at West Gorton in 1939 as demand for its products declined. The Vulcan Works were used as business premises until 2004, when it was converted into flats as Albion Mill and Vulcan Mill. Today the mills have been converted into flats and offices.

Chips is a residential apartment building, alongside the Ashton Canal, in New Islington, Manchester, England. Historically part of Ancoats, the building is part of an urban renewal project, New Islington Millennium Village in east Manchester which has been led by Urban Splash. Chips is a nine-storey building and was designed by the architect Will Alsop, founder of Alsop Architects. The structural engineers where Civic Engineers. Tom Bloxham of Urban Splash requested that the building be away from "mundanity", and came up with Chips with Alsop.In January 2018, Chips failed a Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service risk assessment and the cladding on the building was found to have "non fire retardant" written on it.

The Ancoats Hospital and Ardwick and Ancoats Dispensary (commonly known as Ancoats Hospital) was a large inner-city hospital located in Ancoats, to the north of the city centre of Manchester, England. It was built in 1875, replacing the Ardwick and Ancoats Dispensary that had existed since 1828. The building is now Grade II listed.

Ancoats Hall in Ancoats, Manchester, England, was a post-medieval country house built in 1609 by Oswald Mosley, a member of the family who were Lords of the Manor of Manchester. The old timber-framed hall, built in the early 17th century, was described by John Aiken in his 1795 book Description of the country from 30 to 40 miles around Manchester. The old hall was demolished in the 1820s and replaced by a brick building in the early neo-Gothic style. The new hall, at the eastern end of Great Ancoats Street between Every Street and Palmerston Street, was demolished in the 1960s.

The Church of All Souls is located on Every Street in Ancoats, Manchester, England. It was designed by William Hayley, and was constructed 1839–1840; in a Romanesque style, from brown brick with stone dressing. It was built for Samuel Warren. It has been a Grade II listed building since 15 October 1984. The church closed in 1984, and the building was subsequently used as a joinery workshop. It is now used by the Manchester Miracle Centre.

The Hope Mill Theatre is an independent theatre that performs original and revival plays, musicals and other events. The theater is located at 113 Pollard St in Manchester, UK in the Hope Mill building, a Grade II* listed converted textile mill building. It won Fringe Venue of The Year at The Stage awards in 2018. Hope Mill Theatre is the main work of the registered charity A Factory of Creativity.

Oxygen Towers (also known as Oxygen) are a cluster of three individual but interlinked residential towers in Manchester, England. The 110 m (359 ft), 32-storey Tower 1 is the tallest element, with Towers 2 and 3 having 16 and 10 storeys respectively. The buildings were designed by 5plus Architects and Tower 1 is the 14th-tallest building in Greater Manchester as of 2023.

Great Ancoats Street is a street in the inner suburb of Ancoats, Manchester, England. It forms one of the stretches of the city's inner ring road.A number of cotton mills built in the early and mid-Victorian period are nearby, some of which have been converted into residential or office buildings, such as Albion Mill. The Daily Express Building is on Great Ancoats Street, as is the former Central Retail Park and various hotels. Great Ancoats Street forms the western boundary of the regenerated New Islington area of Manchester on the side of the Rochdale Canal.
