Sutton Bridge railway station

Cross Keys Bridge is a swing bridge that carries the busy single carriageway A17 road which runs from Newark in Nottinghamshire to King's Lynn in Norfolk over the tidal River Nene in Sutton Bridge in the extreme south east of Lincolnshire close to the borders of both Norfolk and Cambridgeshire and is a major landmark on the route particularly for holiday traffic heading into and out of Norfolk during the summer months. It is the only crossing point for both traffic and pedestrians over the river north of the Cambridgeshire town of Wisbech some nine miles to the south of the bridge and provides the only direct link between Lincolnshire and Norfolk. When it was built in 1897, it was the third bridge to cross the Nene in Sutton Bridge. It was originally a dual-purpose bridge serving the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway on what is now the westbound carriageway and the road was on the eastbound side. The railway line was closed in 1965 and the bridge took on its present-day use as a road bridge with one single lane for eastbound traffic and a single lane for westbound traffic. It is a Grade II* listed structure.

Sutton Bridge is a village and civil parish in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the A17 road, 7 miles (11 km) north from Wisbech and 9 miles (14 km) west from King's Lynn. The village includes a commercial dock on the west bank of the River Nene over which spans a swing bridge, and the parish, two 19th-century lighthouses 3 miles (5 km) to the north from the village on the Nene.

Royal Air Force Sutton Bridge or more simply RAF Sutton Bridge is a former Royal Air Force station found next to the village of Sutton Bridge in the south-east of Lincolnshire. The airfield was to the south of the current A17, and east of the River Nene, next to Walpole in Norfolk.

Sutton Bridge Power Station is an 819 MW gas-fired power station in Sutton Bridge in the south-east of Lincolnshire in South Holland, England. It is situated on Centenary Way close to the River Nene. It is a major landmark on the Lincolnshire and Norfolk border and on clear days with its bright red lights it can be easily seen as far away as Hunstanton.

Tydd railway station was a station, opened by the Peterborough, Wisbech and Sutton Bridge Railway on 1 August 1866, in Lincolnshire serving the villages of Tydd St Mary, Tydd Gote and Tydd St Giles, Cambridgeshire on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway route between Sutton Bridge and Wisbech. It closed on 2 March 1959.

Little Sutton is a small civil parish, containing a few farms and a few houses, lying between the much larger parishes of Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge, in Lincolnshire, England.

Walpole is a civil parish in Norfolk, England. The parish includes the conjoined villages of Walpole St Andrew and Walpole St Peter. Walpole Highway and Walpole Cross Keys are separate civil parishes. The parish covers an area of 19.27 km2 (7.44 sq mi), and had a population of 1,707 in 654 households as of the 2001 Census, the population increasing to 1,804 at the 2011 Census.For the purposes of local government, Walpole falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. An electoral ward in the same name exists. This ward had a population at the 2011 Census of 2,322.Edmund of Walpole was Abbot of Bury St Edmunds from 1248 to 1256.

St Andrew's Church is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Walpole, Norfolk, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church is sited in the north part of the village, known as Walpole St Andrew, 8 miles (13 km) west of King's Lynn, to the south of the A17 road.

St Peter's Church is an active Anglican parish church in Walpole St Peter, Norfolk, England. One of the largest churches in the county, it is known as "the Cathedral of the Fens". It is in the Diocese of Ely. The largely Perpendicular building is Grade 1 listed, and is often regarded as one of England's finest parish churches.
