Ark Burlington Danes Academy is a Church of England non-selective, mixed all-through school located in White City, London on a 10-acre (40,000 m2) site. The school is funded by the Department for Education and operated by Ark schools, a registered charity under English law, and sponsored by parent charity Ark.

Little Wormwood Scrubs is a park in Kensal Green on the border of Hammersmith and Fulham and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Counter's Creek, a now subterranean stream that arises in Kensal Green flows south through the park, eventually joining the River Thames.

The Sir Michael Uren Hub is a 13-storey building on the north side of the elevated A40 Westway in London, designed by Allies and Morrison for the purpose of Imperial College's biomedical engineering research. It contains a 160-seat auditorium, social space, cleanrooms, and futuristic outpatients. It is named for engineer Sir Michael Uren and built using his engineered cement substitute, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS). It houses the School of Public Health's Environmental Research Group, the Musculoskeletal Laboratory (MSk lab) and the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI).

The Princess Louise Hospital was a health facility in Kensington, London. It was managed by the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

The Tomb of Marigold Churchill is located in Kensal Green Cemetery in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, England. It commemorates Marigold, the fourth child of Winston and Clementine Churchill. Marigold died aged two in 1921 and the tomb at Kensal Green was her grave until her reinterment in the Churchill family plot at St Martin's Church, Bladon, Oxfordshire in 2020. Designed by Eric Gill, the tomb is a Grade II listed structure.

The Royal Postgraduate Medical School (RPMS) was an independent medical school, based primarily at Hammersmith Hospital in west London. In 1988, the school merged with the Institute of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and in 1997 became part of Imperial College School of Medicine.

Associated Studios is a drama school in London, offering courses in acting, musical theatre, opera and commercial/popular music. Associated Studios were founded by Leontine Hass in 2007, then based at the Royal Academy of Music, in order to address a lack of top-level ongoing professional development and training for performers. In addition to regular classes and masterclasses in acting, singing and dance, Associated Studios also runs Professional Development Workshops for performers who are already working. Associated Studios is the only Performing Arts Academy in the UK to offer training for performers starting a career as well as industry professionals looking for ongoing professional development. White City Place is the name given to the collection of buildings formerly known as BBC Media Village (more commonly simply as White City or W12 within the BBC). White City Place is a collection of six buildings occupying a 17-acre site off Wood Lane, White City in West London (W12), bordered by South Africa Road, Dorando Close and the A40 Westway. The site is a short distance along Wood Lane from the former BBC Television Centre. All formerly properties of the BBC, only two buildings – Broadcast Centre and the Lighthouse – are currently occupied by BBC staff. The BBC sold the majority of buildings on the site in 2015 and it was renamed White City Place by new owners Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan.

The 1908 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the IV Olympiad and also known as London 1908) were an international multi-sport event held in London, England, United Kingdom, from 27 April to 31 October 1908. The 1908 Games were originally scheduled to be held in Rome, but were relocated on financial grounds following the violent eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 1906, which claimed over 100 lives; Rome eventually hosted the Games in 1960.These were the fourth chronological modern Summer Olympics in keeping with the now-accepted four-year cycle as opposed to the alternate four-year cycle of the proposed Intercalated Games. The IOC president for these Games was Baron Pierre de Coubertin. Lasting a total of 187 days (or six months and four days), these Games were the longest in modern Olympics history. The duration of the Summer Games was 16 days in 1912, ranged between 15 and 18 days from 1928 to 1992, and was fixed at 17 days from 1996.

White City Stadium was a stadium in White City, London, England. Built for the 1908 Summer Olympics, it hosted the finish of the first modern marathon and other sports like swimming, speedway, boxing, show jumping, athletics, stock car racing, concerts and a match at the 1966 World Cup. From 1927, it was a venue for greyhound racing, hosting the English Greyhound Derby until its closure in 1984. The stadium was demolished in 1985 and the site is now occupied by White City Place.

The Medical Research Council (MRC) London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) (formerly MRC Clinical Sciences Centre) is a biomedical research institute based in West London, UK. Research at the institute focuses on the understanding of the molecular and physiological basis of health and disease. The LMS was established in 1994 and receives core funding from the Medical Research Council like the Laboratory of Molecular Biology at Cambridge University. The institute is hosted by Imperial College London at the Hammersmith Hospital., and is part of the Institute of Clinical Sciences (ICS), a department in the Imperial College London, Faculty of Medicine. It has been led by Amanda Fisher since 2008.
