Tylersville (also known as Pug Muncy) is an unincorporated community in central West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States. It was laid out in 1842 by Daniel Pocock and named for the President of the United States at the time, John Tyler. Its name lives on in a major road of northern West Chester Township, which is at Exit 22 on I-75.

The Williamson Mound Archeological District is an archaeological site in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located north of Maud in Butler County, the mound appears to have been the work of peoples of the Hopewell tradition.Although a small hole was dug into the top of the Williamson Mound at some point before 1972, the mound remains in premium condition. It sits atop a ridgeline above an intermittent stream in a rural part of increasingly urbanized Butler County.As one of the best preserved Hopewell mounds in its region, the Williamson Mound is potentially a significant archaeological site. For this reason, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Bethany is an unincorporated community in southeastern Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States, located in the southwestern part of Ohio. It lies about three miles south of Monroe. Bethany was laid out in 1822 on what would become the Cincinnati and Dayton Turnpike (which was later known as the Dixie Highway), U.S. Route 25, and Cincinnati-Dayton Road. It gave its name to the Voice of America's Bethany Relay Station and to the telephone exchange which covers most of Liberty and West Chester Townships. It is served by the Middletown post office and the Lakota Local School District.

Fairfield Township is one of thirteen townships in Butler County, Ohio, United States. It is located in the south central portion of the county. The population was 22,645 at the 2020 census. Before annexations by the cities of Hamilton and Fairfield, it had an area of about 50 square miles (130 km2).

Hughes Manor, also known as White House Manor, located near Middletown, Ohio, was built in 1889. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.It was listed on the NRHP for its architecture. It includes Greek Revival, Stick/Eastlake, and Queen Anne architecture.The 10.5-acre (4.2 ha) listed area included 5 contributing buildings and one contributing structure. Historic functions served by its buildings include serving as a single dwelling, as a secondary structure, and as agricultural outbuildings.

Lakota East High School is a four-year, public high school in Liberty Township, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is a member of the Lakota Local School District, which comprises both West Chester Township and Liberty Township. The district was originally unified under one high school, Lakota High School, until 1997 when the district expanded and formed two new high schools – Lakota East and Lakota West. The high school enrolls over 2,500 students in grades 9–12, repurposing the former high school as a freshman building named Lakota West Freshman School.

LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park was an amusement park located in Monroe, Ohio. Founded by Edgar Streifthau, the park originally opened in 1922 as a family picnic destination with swimming amenities. Throughout the 1940s, LeSourdsville Lake transformed into an amusement park with the addition of rides, attractions, and an arcade. The park was sold in 1961, and following heavy competition from nearby Kings Island, it was rebranded Americana Amusement Park in 1978. An electrical fire in 1990 caused over $5 million in damages and led to bankruptcy. The park continued to operate under several different owners before eventually closing in 1999. Americana briefly reopened in 2002 under the original name LeSourdsville Lake, but the effort by new owner Jerry Couch was short-lived as the park failed to turn a profit. Remaining rides and attractions were either sold or later demolished. In 2017, the city of Monroe received a portion of the land to build a city park and regional bicycle trail, and another portion was sold to a local vocational school seeking to build a new campus location.

Maud is an unincorporated community in central West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States, located on Cincinnati–Dayton Road (also known as the Dixie Highway). Originally called Shoemaker, it was renamed for Richard Maud, the town's first postmaster and was formerly a stop on the Dayton Short Line, which became part of the Big Four Railroad. An important road in West Chester and Liberty Townships is Maud Hughes Road. Around the late 1860s or early 1870s, Maud was the site of an attempt by a local entrepreneur to construct a mill that worked via perpetual motion. A large crowd gathered to watch the mill start, and when it did not, laughter ensued. Nothing was heard from the unnamed entrepreneur again, and the mill quickly vanished. The local newspapers did not record the event, and the only record of its occurrence was transmitted by elderly residents of Maud to one William Marion Miller of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Wetherington is a census-designated place (CDP) in West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,302 at the 2010 census.

Liberty Center is a mixed-use retail shopping mall, residential, and office complex in Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States. Opened in 2015, it features over 1,200,000 square feet (110,000 m2) of retail, entertainment, and offices. The center was built by Steiner Realty. Major tenants include Dillard's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Cobb Theatres, and AC Hotels.

Lakota High School was a high school in the Lakota School District in Butler County, Ohio; it encompasses both West Chester (formerly Union) Township and Liberty Township. The Thunderbird was the Lakota mascot, drawing on the Native American name, T-Birds being a common nickname. Much of the district was rural when originally established, especially the more northern Liberty Township, but became predominately suburban with population growth and the expansion of metropolitan Cincinnati, Ohio. The school was built in 1959. It eventually split into two high schools in 1997: Lakota East High School and Lakota West High School. The Lakota High School site, on Tylersville Road in West Chester, Ohio, is now used as both a Freshman School and Early Childhood Center for the Lakota School District.
