Sedgeford railway station

The Sedgeford Torc is a broken Iron Age gold torc found near the village of Sedgeford in Norfolk. The main part of the torc was found during harrowing of a field in 1965, and the missing terminal was found by Dr. Steve Hammond during fieldwork by the Sedgeford Historical and Archaeological Research Project in 2004. The torc is now displayed at the British Museum.

Sedgeford is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, about 5 miles south of the North Sea and 3 miles (4.8 km) east of the Wash. It is 36 miles northwest of Norwich. Its area of 6.6 square miles (17 km2) had a population, including Fring, of 613 at the 2011 Census. It was estimated at 601 in 2019. For local-government purposes, it falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. It lies in a farming valley with main crops of barley, wheat and sugar beet, in a belt of chalk with the small Docking River running through.

Ringstead is a village and civil parish in the north-west corner of the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 11.13 km2 (4.30 sq mi) and had a population of 355 in 155 households at the 2001 census, reducing to 324 at the 2011 census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk.

Ringstead Downs is a 6.9-hectare (17-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Hunstanton in Norfolk. It is in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and it is the western part of the 11-hectare (27-acre) Ringstead Downs nature reserve, which is managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. This is a dry chalk valley which was carved out by glacial meltwaters It is species-rich as it has never been ploughed, and it is the largest surviving area of chalk downland surviving in the county. The butterflies are diverse. A footpath between Ringstead and Downs Road in Hunstanton goes through the reserve.

Hunstanton Park Esker is a 17.3-hectare (43-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Hunstanton in Norfolk. The esker extends 1.5 km from north of Ringstead Downs to Hunstanton Hall. It is a Geological Conservation Review site. This is a 1.5-kilometre (1-mile) esker, a long winding ridge of stratified sand and gravel dating to the glacial Devensian period, between 115,000 and 11,700 years ago. This is an uncommon landform in central and southern England. It is private land and there is no public access.

The Snettisham Hoard or Snettisham Treasure is a series of discoveries of Iron Age precious metal, found in the Snettisham area of the English county of Norfolk between 1948 and 1973.

Shernborne is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 5.63 km2 (2.17 sq mi) and had a population of 59 in 24 households at the 2001 census. The population remained less than 100 at the 2011 Census and is included in the civil parish of Ingoldisthorpe. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. The villages name means 'dung stream'. Together with the villages of West Newton, Flitcham, and Anmer, it is part of the Royal Sandringham Estate. The village club was shut by the Sandringham Estate but is now about to become a Wood burning stove showroom.

Fring is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 6.93 km2 (2.68 sq mi) and had a population of 94 in 41 households at the 2001 census. The population remained less than 100 at the 2011 Census and was included in the civil parish of Sedgeford. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. There is a small cluster of buildings located along Fring road consisting of Fring All Saints. The villages name means 'Frea's place'. In 1870–72 Fring was described as: "a parish in Docking district, Norfolk; 2¾ miles SW of Docking, and 2 ESE of Sedgeford r. station. Post town, Docking, under Lynn. Acres, 1,710. Real property, £2,065. Pop., 173. Houses, 37." Fring is the traditional source of the River Heacham and a (now) often dry lake bed of approximately one acre marks the point where a spring fed the river. (52°52'56.0"N 0°34'48.4"E).

Snettisham Carstone Quarry is an 11-hectare (27-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of King's Lynn in Norfolk. It is in the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.This is the only known location in Britain for the micro-moth Nothris verbascella. Its host plant, hoary mullein, is abundant in areas of the quarry which are no longer worked.There is no public access to this working quarry.

Hunstanton Hall, Old Hunstanton, Norfolk, England is a country house dating originally from the 15th century. The gatehouse, now detached from the main building, is dated 1487. The wings were built in the seventeenth century and there are Victorian additions. The house was the ancestral home of the L'Estrange family, resident from the time of Domesday until after World War II. During the early 20th century, P. G. Wodehouse, a friend of Charles Le Strange, was a frequent visitor and the hall features in his novel Money for Nothing (1928) and his collection of short stories Very Good, Jeeves (1930). The hall has also been suggested as a model for Blandings Castle. The building suffered two major fires, in 1853 and 1947. In 1948, the hall was sold and converted into apartments. Hunstanton Hall is a Grade I listed building.

Wild Ken Hill is a rewilding and regenerative agriculture project located in Norfolk, England, at the edge of The Wash.

Heacham Brick Pit is a 0.8-hectare (2.0-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Heacham, north of King's Lynn in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site. This is the only site which gives access to examine the Lower Cretaceous Snettisham Clay. It has Lower Barremian ammonite fossils, dating to around 130 million years ago. The site is private land with no public access.
