Clarkson is an outer northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located 34 kilometres north of Perth's central business district in the City of Wanneroo. While mostly a residential area, it also functions as a town centre, serving many surrounding areas with a vast amount of amenities and facilities. The suburb has a railway station on the Joondalup railway line and also is a major public transport hub for surrounding suburbs.

Neerabup National Park is a national park in the City of Wanneroo in Western Australia, situated approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) north of Perth. The park is found to the west of Wanneroo Road and is a long thin strip of bushland that is about 12 km (7.5 mi) in length. It contains no car parks and roads or any other facilities and attracts no entrance fee.The area protects part of an ancient Indigenous Australian migration route between Lake Joondalup and Loch McNess (in Yanchep National Park). This later became are well used stock route and then part of the Yaberoo Budjara Heritage Trail. The trail is based on the Yellalonga tribes movements between the lakes and highlights features of historical, aboriginal and natural significance.The park lies within the Northern Swan Coastal Plain Important Bird Area, so identified by BirdLife International because of its importance in supporting several thousand Short-billed Black Cockatoos during the non-breeding season.

Tamala Park is an unpopulated locality in Perth, Western Australia. It sits on the border between the City of Wanneroo and the City of Joondalup local authorities, and separates the Clarkson-Butler region from the suburbs of Joondalup.

Mindarie is an outer coastal suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is located 36 kilometres (22 mi) north of Perth's central business district, and forms part of the City of Wanneroo local government area. After being briefly used for its limestone deposits in the early 20th century, the suburb was formally established in 1988 with the construction of the Mindarie Marina and hotel, one of the largest man-made marina resorts in the state. Several shops, restaurants and schools are now dispersed throughout the rest of the area, which is primarily residential in character. A number of large bushland reserves and parks preserve Mindarie's previously natural state, such as its large coastal dunes. Mindarie was used as one of the filming locations for the children's science fiction television series Stormworld.

Kinross is a small suburb in the City of Joondalup located in the northern suburbs of Perth in Western Australia. Kinross was constructed around 1992-3 in various stages. It is bordered by Neerabup National Park to the northeast, Tamala Park to the north, Burns Beach to the west and Currambine to the south. It is the City of Joondalup's northernmost suburb. Kinross mostly contains young families and overseas migrants, especially from the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa. Several parks are dotted through the suburb, most of which offer playground facilities. The Scottish influence in Kinross extends throughout the suburb with road names, parks and others mainly derived from Scottish place names, for example Glencoe Loop, Edinburgh Avenue, Roxburgh Circle, Selkirk Drive, Falkirk Court, Ben Nevis Turn, and Coatbridge Circuit.

Burns Beach is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located 34 kilometres (21 mi) north of Perth's central business district at the northern fringe of the City of Joondalup. Burns Beach has maintained much of its original character as a small coastal village even with its loss of isolation, and the beach is popular among hang gliding enthusiasts.
