Mint Street is a streetcar station in Charlotte, North Carolina. The at-grade island platform on West Trade Street is a stop along the CityLynx Gold Line, serving the Charles R. Jonas Federal Building as well as several commercial and residential towers.

AC Hotel/Residence Inn Charlotte EpiCentre (formally known as 210 Trade) is a 320 feet (98 m) hotel skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Old Settlers' Cemetery is a city-owned cemetery located at 200 West 5th Street, right in the middle of Charlotte, North Carolina. It was the first municipal burial ground in Charlotte and contains the graves of many early settlers, with gravesites dating from 1776 through 1884. Prominent people buried in Old Settlers' include Nathaniel Alexander, Greene Washington Caldwell, Revolutionary War hero Major General George Graham, and Thomas Polk, Charlotte founding father and great-uncle of United States President James K. Polk. Also contained in the cemetery is an obelisk honoring North Carolina planter and politician William Davidson.Old Settlers' was Charlotte's only city operated cemetery until 1854, when—due to space limitations—it was closed and the City opened Elmwood/Pinewood Cemetery. By the 1940s the cemetery was in poor condition and was only preserved through the efforts of Charlotte historian and legislator Julia McGehee Alexander.Old Settlers' Cemetery recently had a $500,000 restoration. With its majestic old oaks and brick lined pathways, it is more park than cemetery and is a centerpiece of Charlotte's Fourth Ward Historic District.

Thomas Polk (c. 1732–January 25, 1794) was a planter, military officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War from 1775 to 1781, and a politician who served in the North Carolina House of Commons, North Carolina Provincial Congress, and Council of State. Polk commanded the 4th North Carolina Regiment in the Battle of Brandywine. In 1786, Polk was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly to the Congress of the Confederation, but did not attend any of its sessions. Polk was a great-uncle of the 11th President of the United States, James K. Polk.

The Charles R. Jonas Federal Building, also known as the United States Post Office and Courthouse, is an historic structure located at 401 West Trade Street, in Charlotte, North Carolina, which has served at various times as a courthouse of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and a United States post office. Designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under James A. Wetmore, it was completed in 1915; the building was renamed in honor of long-serving North Carolina Congressman Charles R. Jonas, and was transferred to the city in exchange for land in the fall of 2005, and has been leased back to the federal government for continued use.

TradeMark (a.k.a. "TradeMark Condos") is a 325 feet (99 m) tall, primarily residential, skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was completed in 2007 and has 28 floors and 200 residential units. Additionally it is one of the tallest buildings in Uptown Charlotte.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at 200 W. Trade Street in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built in 1857, and is a one-story, Gothic Revival style stuccoed brick building. The original spire was rebuilt in 1883-1884 and the side and rear walls of the church were taken down and a new structure was erected in 1894–1895.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Carillon Tower is a 394-foot-tall (120 m) skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. The building was completed in 1991 and it has 24 floors. The top of the skyscraper contains a copper-roofed, Gothic central spire shaped like a bell tower, which rises 300 feet (91 m) from the base of the building. This structure is considered to be the most striking feature of the property, and it was designed to resemble the architecture of the historic First Presbyterian Church located across the street. The same church also inspired the building's name. An art gallery is located in the lobby of the building hosts a program of rotating exhibitions, including artist Jean Tinguely's Cascade, a 40-foot (12 m) mobile suspended above an indoor fountain. A landscaped public plaza is situated at the entrance of Carillon on West Trade Street. It surrounds a 30-foot (9 m) high multi-colored aluminum sculpture, designed by Jerry Peart, named The Garden. It has 470,726 square feet (43,732 m2) of Class A office space. This building was built on the former site of the Hotel Charlotte. In 2007 it was sold for US$140 million to Hines.

Hotel Charlotte was a 13-story hotel in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, which opened in 1929. It was on the corner of Trade Street and Poplar Street in the Uptown area of Charlotte. While primarily known by the name "Hotel Charlotte", it also operated under the names "Queen Charlotte Hotel" and "White House Inn." It closed for business on December 31, 1973. It was designed by William Lee Stoddart and was a steel-frame building sheathed with sections of gray granite and a buff-colored brick. It housed 250 guest rooms.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 2, 1979.In the years following its closure, attempts were made to find developers who could rehabilitate and preserve the structure. However, as the building languished, it was severely vandalized and much of its interior plumbing and wiring stolen by looters. Hotel Charlotte was imploded on November 6, 1988. David Copperfield used the implosion as the setting for his escape in the TV special The Explosive Encounter. A restaurant of the same name was created in its honor and reused many interior pieces from the original hotel. The restaurant ceased operations on January 29, 2011.

Avenue is a 425 feet (130 m) tall skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was completed in 2007 and has 36 floors. Its construction began on May 17, 2005. It has 6,700 square feet (620 m2) of retail space at street level. The average unit size of its 386 apartments is 900 sq ft (80 m2). The 0.8 acres (3,237.5 m2) site was originally proposed 201 North Tryon Residential Tower.

129 West Trade is a 227-foot (69 m) high-rise in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was built in 1958 and has 15 floors. The building is clad with 3,822 - 2,000 pound (890 kg) precast concrete facade panels which measure 5.5 by 6 feet (1.6 by 1.8 m). This building was home to the Wachovia Charlotte office prior to 1975, when the bank moved to 400 South Tryon. The Charlotte Chamber of Commerce occupied the building from 1975 to 1995.

Charlotte Gateway Station is a future intermodal transit station in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Currently operating as a streetcar stop for the CityLynx Gold Line, it is the centerpiece of the overall 19-acre (7.7 ha) Station District and will serve Charlotte Area Transit System light rail and bus lines, Amtrak intercity trains and Greyhound Lines intercity buses. The district will also include parking facilities, mixed-use development and an elevated greenway. Estimated at a cost of $800.1 million (2017 US dollars) for full implementation of all public and private components, the project will be built in three phases, with all construction tentatively scheduled to be done by 2024.
