Jackson Park is a park south of Downtown Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Acquired in 1929, with the persistence of then mayor Cecil E. Jackson, Windsor City Council voted in favour of purchasing the land from the Jockey Club. At the same meeting where the land was purchased, City Council decided to name the new park after their Mayor. Jackson Park has long been considered one of Windsor's most beautiful parks and attractions. It is most known for its yearly display annual garden beds and a large array of perennial plants. In the winter months, Jackson hosts Bright Lights Windsor, a Christmas light display put on by the City.

Windsor Stadium is a 3,000-capacity stadium located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the stadium is mainly used for Canadian Football and soccer, but has hosted rugby and other sports. It was home to the Ontario Football Conference team the Windsor AKO Fratmen prior to their acquisition in 2020 by St. Clair College, and Canadian Soccer League team the Windsor Stars before they became Windsor TFC. Windsor Stadium is located within Jackson Park. The Windsor AKO Fratmen Football Team is a Canadian Football team that played in the Canadian Junior Football League since the 1940s and won national titles in 1952, 1954, and 1999. The Fratmen have played at Fratmen Field at Windsor Stadium since 1953. The 2007 CSL All-star game was held at Windsor Stadium.

Catholic Central High School is a high school in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is operated by the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. Amy Lofaso is the school's principal. Catholic Central High School has a diverse, multicultural student body.

Windsor was a train station in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The station was built by the Michigan Central Railroad in 1911 and subsequently controlled by the Canada Southern Railway. The station served Canada Southern Railway and New York Central trains. Windsor also has another railroad station in town. Through most of its decades, and into the latter 1960s, the station served New York Central passenger trains over a New York–Buffalo–Windsor–Detroit–Jackson–Chicago route: the Empire State Express and the Wolverine. It also served trains bound for a slightly more northerly route east: to London, Toronto and Montreal: the New York Central-Canadian Pacific pooled train, the Canadian (later renamed the Canadian-Niagara).The last train service to this station was Amtrak's Niagara Rainbow from October 1978 to January 31, 1979. The building was burnt to the ground in 1996 due to arson.
