Leonie Pray House, also known as "Dawson-Pray House," is a Long Beach Historic Landmark located in the Los Cerritos neighborhood of Long Beach, California. It is a 6,500-square-foot (600 m2) English Tudor Revival mansion designed by architect Clarence Aldrich. It has been used as a filming location for films and television series, including Donnie Darko, Not Another Teen Movie, Weird Science, and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Los Cerritos Ranch House, also known as Rancho Los Cerritos or Casa de los Cerritos, in Long Beach, California, was "the largest and most impressive adobe residence erected in southern California during the Mexican period". Los Cerritos means "the little hills" in English. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970.

Wardlow station is an at-grade light rail station on the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is located on the A Line's exclusive right-of-way (the historic route of the Pacific Electric Railway) that parallels Pacific Place, at its intersection with Wardlow Street, after which the station is named, in the Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach, California.The Willow and Wardlow stations are the two A Line stations closest to the Long Beach Airport. Compton Creek is a major tributary of the Los Angeles River in and surrounding Compton in Los Angeles County, California. The stream drains a watershed of 42.1 square miles (109 km2). and is the last major tributary to enter the Los Angeles River before it reaches the Pacific Ocean. The stream begins just east of South Main Street between 107th and 108th Streets in Los Angeles. Compton Creek passes through Willowbrook and runs 8.5 miles (13.7 km) in total. Most of its route is encased in a concrete flood control channel. Shortly after it passes under West Greenleaf Boulevard, it changes to an earth-bottom section with riprap banks. Joined near its end by East Compton Creek, the creek ultimately empties into the Los Angeles River just south of Del Amo Boulevard.

Silverado Park is a city-operated park of 11.8 acres (4.8 ha) in the West-Side area of Long Beach, California. It was built in the 1930s under the auspices of the Works Progress Administration. It is in an area with increased crime rates although events such as a children's Christmas party have also taken place there. In 2005 the park was part of a study conducted by CSULB biologists on the behavior of house finches in heavily urbanized environments.

College Medical Center, is a community-based teaching hospital located in Long Beach, California. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It was purchased by Santa Fe Springs-based healthcare management company College Health Enterprises Inc., in October 2013 and renamed College Medical Center. This purchase joined the hospital with College Hospital Cerritos and College Hospital Costa Mesa as affiliates of College Health Enterprises.Since implementing infection control measures, the hospital has nearly eliminated methicillin resistant strains of staphylococcus (MRSA). Measures include an air ventilation system that uses ultraviolet light to kill germs, more time for maintenance staff to clean rooms, and more frequent hand washing by staff members.

Del Amo station is an elevated light rail station on the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is located between Compton Creek and Santa Fe Avenue, and elevated over the intersection of Del Amo Boulevard, after which the station is named, in the Los Angeles County community of Rancho Dominguez and near the city of Carson.Del Amo station provides access to Dignity Health Sports Park (home stadium for the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer) via the Galaxy Express shuttle operated by Long Beach Transit on game days during soccer season. During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the station will serve spectators traveling to and from venues located at the Dignity Health Sports Park, site of the rugby, modern pentathalon, tennis, track cycling, and field hockey competitions.Del Amo is the only elevated A Line station that was not originally built to handle three car trains. The northern end of the platform was lengthened in 2000. The A Line maintenance and storage yard is located between the Wardlow and Del Amo stations.

The station is located adjacent to Long Beach Boulevard its intersection with Willow Street, after which the station is named, in the Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach, California.South of this station, A Line trains exit the exclusive right-of-way (the historic route of the Pacific Electric Railway) and start their street running portion in the median of Long Beach Boulevard. Willow is a park and ride station with 920 parking spaces (including a multi-story parking facility) and 10 bike lockers. The Willow Street and Wardlow stations, both in Wrigley, are the two A Line stations closest to the Long Beach Municipal Airport.
