North Kansas Avenue Bridge

Great Overland Station, listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Union Pacific Railroad Passenger Depot, is a museum and former railroad station in Topeka, Kansas, United States. The station was built from 1925 to 27 and designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood, whose firm designed over 20 Union Pacific Railroad stations from 1924 to 1931. The station's Free Classical Revival design uses terra cotta extensively and features a center pavilion with two increasingly smaller pavilions on either side. Passenger service to the station began in January 1927; almost 20,000 people attended the station's grand opening, and the new station was considered "one of the largest and finest stations west of the Missouri River". In the later years of its train station life, it also hosted the passenger trains of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad (Rock Island Lines). The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway 'Santa Fe' had its trains stop at its own Topeka station.

The Topeka Boulevard Bridge is a four-lane automobile and pedestrian crossing of the Kansas River at Topeka, Kansas, U.S.A. A complete rebuilding of the bridge took place from 2006 to 2008, in which guarded walkways for pedestrians were added, as well as various aesthetic amenities, like a clock. The bridge spans the Kansas River from West 1st Avenue to NW Gordon Street.

North Topeka Baptist Church is a church building at 123 NW Gordon in Topeka, Kansas, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. It was built in 1921. It survived a flood in 1951.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic church in Topeka, Kansas, United States. It was established to serve the needs of the growing population of Volga Germans, ethnic Germans from Russia. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Placesin 1971. It was deemed "an outstanding Kansas example of a large 19th century brick church building."It is a red brick church. Its NRHP nomination states: "Most impressive to one approaching the church are the two identical steeples towering over all the neighboring buildings and trees. These towers begin as squares and then are quite nicely transformed into octagons. This transformation is executed very gracefully by first cutting off the square corners at the clock level; the next logical step is an octagon roof with equal sides."

St. John's Lutheran School (also known as the Johannes Arms Apartments) is a historic Lutheran school building at 315 W. 4th Street in Topeka, Kansas, United States. It was built between 1919 and 1922 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Until 1949 it was home to the present-day Topeka Lutheran School. It was deemed "primarily significant as an exceptionally-intact example of the institutional architecture of Frank C. Squires, a prominent Topeka architect who practiced in the early decades of the twentieth century. Additionally, it is locally significant for its historical contributions to education in Topeka."

Topeka station is an Amtrak train station in Topeka, Kansas, United States, served by the Southwest Chief train. The station was built in 1948 by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway as a replacement for the former Topeka Harvey House, which was in use from 1878 to 1940. The existing station was remodeled by the BNSF Railway in 2006.

The Fire Station No. 2 in Topeka, Kansas, at 719-723 Van Buren, is a fire station which was built in 1927. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002 as Fire Station No. 2-Topeka.It was designed by architect Thomas Wilson Williamson in 1927 to serve as Topeka's Fire Department Headquarters and as fire station for Company No. 2. It is a two-and-a-half-story building with elements of Mediterranean Revival style (within broader Spanish Colonial Revival style) including its wrought iron balcony railings and its Spanish tile roof. Its modern features included a 60 feet (18 m) high fire drill tower, which was removed in 1967, and a fire alarm center.It was remodeled in 1979 to serve as the Topeka Emergency Communication Center (TECOM), Topeka's then-new combined fire and police dispatch and 911 center.

The Ward-Meade House is a historic house in Topeka, Kansas. It was built in 1870 for Anthony A. Ward and his wife, née Mary Jane Foster. It was inherited by their daughter Jennie, who lived here with her husband John Meade, an engineer for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. It remained in the Ward-Meade family until 1961, when it was acquired by the city of Topeka.It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 12, 1975.

Church of the Assumption and Rectory is a historic church and rectory at 204 SW 8th Street in Topeka, Kansas. The church was built in 1924 and added to the National Register in 2008.The Assumption Rectory was completed in 1929 and is an example of Renaissance Revival style.
