The Santa Maria is a residential skyscraper in the City of Miami, Florida, United States. The building is located in the city's Brickell neighborhood, south of Downtown. The building has 51 floors and is 520 feet (160 m) tall. The address is 1643 Brickell Avenue. The building is just a short distance from the Brickell Financial District. The building was completed in 1997, before the most recent major building boom in Miami began.

Simpson Park, officially Simpson Park Hammock, is a 7.8-acre (3.2 ha) urban park and nature preserve located between Brickell and The Roads neighborhoods of Miami, Florida. The park was originally known as Jungle Park, as 5.5 acres (2.2 ha) were set aside in 1913 by a group of individuals to preserve what is now one of the last remaining tracts (along with Alice Wainwright Park and a spot on Virginia Key) of Brickell Hammock, a tropical hardwood hammock which once ran from the Miami River to Coconut Grove. The park lies on the Miami Rock Ridge at an elevation over 15 feet (4.6 m) above sea level, relatively high for the Miami area. The soils are mostly shallow muck (Matecumbe Series) over limestone. In 1927 the park's name was changed in honor of Miami botanist and conservationist Charles Torrey Simpson. In 1940 an additional 3 acres (1.2 ha) of adjacent hammock was incorporated into the park. A building known as the Charles Torrey Simpson Garden Center was constructed on this addition in 1941. This is also the main entrance to the park, at 55 SW 17th Road. Simpson Park is home to 15 endangered plant species, such as Licaria triandra, and 9 threatened plant species. Being a remnant of local regional ecology in the highly developed downtown area, Simpson Park has the qualities of an urban wild or "passive park".

The Palace is a residential high-rise building located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. Standing at 400 feet (120 meters), the building is currently the 74th-tallest building in the city. The building is located at 1541 Brickell Avenue. The Palace houses 42 floors, and was completed in 1981 by real estate magnate Harry Helmsley. The building was designed by the renowned Arquitectonica architectural firm, and MEP engineering services were provided by Franyie Engineers, Inc. (franyie.com). The building was the first condominium high-rise tower to be exclusively represented and sold by real estate broker Alicia Cervera, founder and chairman of Cervera Real Estate.

Petit Douy, or Château Petit Douy, is a City of Miami historic property located at 1500 Brickell Avenue in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida, USA. The two-story Period Revival French Château was built in 1931, designed by architect Martin L. Hampton. The then-residential house was nominated for historic designation in 1983 by the City of Miami. The design and name of the house was inspired by a château in Douy, France, after its original owners, local attorneys John Murrell and Ethel Murrell, visited that country.Located in an expensive and highly redeveloped luxury market, the zoning was changed to restrict uses such as condominiums to prevent demolition; however, the new zoning allowed commercial use of the property such as a storefront, office or restaurant. The property was sold to the owner of a pharmaceutical company in 2006. In 2015, the building began renovation to be turned into a restaurant or a club.

St Jude Melkite Catholic Church is a Melkite Greek Catholic Church which follows the Byzantine Rite. Church of Our Savior, MCC, is located at 2011 S. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, Florida. It is affiliated with the Metropolitan Community Church, a Protestant denomination with special outreach to the LGBTQ community. Like other MCC churches, it celebrates the Eucharist once a week, and practices open communion, meaning that recipients need not be a member of it or any other church to participate. According to former pastor Renwick Bell, "MCC churches traditionally are a mixture of many faith traditions.... At Church of Our Savior we attempt to reach each and every person on their faith journey. We appreciate the diversity of faith traditions represented by our congregants and we attempt to touch each of these very special traditions at some time during our worship." Many members have experienced rejection from families or other churches and according to Rev. Wendy Woodruff, "we want them to know this is a place of refuge, a place of sanctuary, that they don't have to fear being here." According to her, "I feel called to serve the community as a whole, as well as the church community. We are called to carry the message of God's love for ALL, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, language, abled-ness, country of birth, or any of the many things that draw us apart."

Alice Wainwright Park is a 28-acre (11 ha) waterfront park and nature preserve located in northern Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida, United States, on the southern border of Brickell. It is named for Alice C. Wainwright, who was the first woman elected to serve on the City of Miami Commission.The park planted with palm and gumbo limbo trees, offers, "a stunning vista of Biscayne Bay."The park is located on Biscayne Bay and has several acres of green space, as well as some athletic and recreational facilities including a playground and basketball courts. The park was built as part of the 1972 Parks for People Bond. The park's entrance is located on a secluded extension of Brickell Avenue that is disconnected from the main portion that was formerly signed as U.S. Route 1. Street parking is available and the road is also part of a popular for biking, where two popular routes converge, including the Rickenbacker Causeway. Along with Simpson Park Hammock, Alice Wainwright Park includes a fragment of the once widespread tropical hardwood hammock known as Brickell Hammock. The park was once considered partially responsible for some of the blight in the secluded neighborhood, which has long been home to many wealthy residents, including celebrities. This led to contention over the street parking as higher enforcement and private security were on the rise.

Brickell ( BRIK-əl) is a neighborhood in Miami, Florida, historically referenced at times as Southside (being south of the Miami River), located directly east of Interstate 95, south of the Miami River and north of Coconut Grove. Brickell is known as the financial district of Miami, as well as South Florida. Brickell was founded in the mid-19th century, growing to become Miami's "Millionaire's Row" in the early 20th century after the construction of lavish mansions along Brickell Avenue by Mary Brickell; both the avenue and neighborhood were named for Ms. Brickell and her husband, William Brickell. By the 1970s, office towers, hotels and apartments began replacing the historic mansions. Brickell overtook the city's central business district to the north, as one of the largest financial districts in the United States. With a fast-growing residential population, Brickell is Miami's most dense neighborhood, with a 2010 population of about 31,000.

One Broadway is a residential skyscraper in the city of Miami, Florida, United States. It is located in Downtown's southern Brickell Financial District, an area of increased density with the recent building boom in Miami. The 37-story tower was completed in 2005, and is located at 1451 South Miami Avenue, two blocks west of Brickell Avenue. The building is near Southeast/Southwest 15th Road, which is known as Broadway in Brickell. The building was closed in the early 2020s for more than a year for a major renovation, including a new glass façade.

CCCC Miami Towers is the preliminary name for a mixed-use project being planned in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. The site is bounded by South Miami Avenue to the east, SW 14th Terrace to the south, SW 1st Avenue to the west, and SW 14th Street to the north. The site broke ground in 2006 and was excavated for a previous project that stalled known as Capital at Brickell. It was revived in 2014 by China City Construction Corp, an affiliate of China Communications Construction Company.
