Drouin is a town in the West Gippsland region, 90 kilometres (56 mi) east of Melbourne, in the Australian state of Victoria. Its local government area is the Shire of Baw Baw, and is home to the council headquarters despite being the second-largest town in the shire, behind neighbouring Warragul. The town is supposedly named after a Frenchman who invented a chlorination process for the extraction of ore, or an Aboriginal word meaning "north wind". New housing developments have accelerated the town's residential growth in recent years. As at the 2016 census, Drouin had a population of 11,887 people.

Chairo Christian School also has a Kindergarten program that caters for children aged 3-4. According to a statement from its principal, the school teaches both evolution and creationism, though clearly states the school's belief in creationism in such classes.

Longwarry railway station is located on the Gippsland line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the town of Longwarry, and it opened on 1 July 1881.The track east of the station to Drouin was duplicated in 1952, but the section between Bunyip and Longwarry remains single track, because the bridge over the Bunyip River has not been duplicated. The line to Warragul was electrified in July 1954, but electrification was removed in December 1998.On 26 August 1988, the electric staff safeworking system between Longwarry and Bunyip was abolished, and was replaced with automatic three-position signalling. The double line block system between Longwarry and Warragul was also abolished, along with the signal box and all two position signals. At the same time, boom barriers were provided at the Yannathan Road level crossing, replacing hand-operated gates. By October 1989, the connections to the former goods siding was abolished, as was the overhead wire above the siding.As part of the Regional Rail Revival project, a second platform is to be built at the station, and the line duplicated between Bunyip and Longwarry. The project is due to be completed in late 2022.

Warragul forms part of a larger urban area that includes nearby Drouin that had an estimated total population of 42,827 as of the 2021 census.Warragul is the main population and service centre of the West Gippsland region and the Shire of Baw Baw. The surrounding area is noted for dairy farming and other niche agriculture and has long been producing gourmet foods.

The station is run and operated by volunteers.There is another station in the network with the same 3RPH/T callsign, 3RPH Warrnambool When not broadcasting local programs, the station is a relay of 3RPH in Melbourne.

Labertouche is a locality in Victoria, Australia, located on Jacksons Track, in the Shire of Baw Baw. At the 2016 census, Labertouche had a population of 356.The first post office in Labertouche opened on 5 April 1876.The locality is named after Peter Paul Labertouche, the Secretary of the Victorian Railways Department in the late nineteenth century, and who descended from an Irish Huguenots family.A school was opened in 1880 and continues to operate.The tree species Grevillea barklyana is endemic to an area near Labertouche.

West Gippsland Hospital is a regional hospital in Warragul, Victoria, first established in 1888 on land donated by a local resident, Mary Sargeant.The current hospital is an 83-bed facility with an additional 60 beds available in the adjoining Cooinda Lodge Nursing Home.
