Trumbull Mall

Trumbull is a town located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. The town is part of the Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, and borders on the cities of Bridgeport and Shelton, as well as the towns of Stratford, Fairfield, Easton and Monroe. The population was 36,827 during the 2020 census. Trumbull was the home of the Golden Hill Paugussett Indian Nation for thousands of years before the English settlement was made in 1639. The town was named after Jonathan Trumbull (1710–1785), a merchant, patriot and statesman, at its incorporation in 1797. Aviation pioneer Igor Sikorsky lived in Trumbull during his active years when he designed, built, and flew fixed-wing aircraft and put the helicopter into mass production for the first time.

The Discovery Science Center provides dynamic, hands-on STEM experiences designed to resonate with the innate curiosity, learning desire, and spirit of exploration of visitors, encouraging young learners to ask questions, solve problems, and engineer solutions today so they are better prepared to embrace the challenges of tomorrow. Its mission is to inspire wonder and ignite creativity through the exploration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through interactive experiences, unique exhibits, and dynamic STEM learning programs. The science center seeks to enhance public understanding of STEM through a variety of resources including education programs, planetarium presentations, the Challenger Learning Center, Science on a Sphere and a variety of permanent and traveling exhibits.

Sacred Heart University (SHU) is a private, Catholic university in Fairfield, Connecticut. It was founded in 1963 by the Most Reverend Walter W. Curtis, Bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Sacred Heart was the first Catholic university in the United States to be staffed by the laity.Sacred Heart is the second-largest Catholic university in New England, behind Boston College, and offers more than 80 degree programs to over 8,500 students at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.Undergraduate students can study at Sacred Heart's international campuses in Dingle, Ireland and Luxembourg, including freshmen participating in pre-fall and Freshman Fall Abroad programs. The Diocese of Bridgeport is a suffragan diocese within the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Hartford. As of September 19, 2013, the diocese is led by Bishop Frank Joseph Caggiano. He succeeds William E. Lori, appointed March 19, 2001, who served until 2012, when he was installed as Archbishop of Baltimore. The diocese was led by Msgr. Jerald A. Doyle as Diocesan Administrator until Caggiano, named by Pope Francis on July 31, 2013, was installed as bishop on September 19, 2013.

Notre Dame Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport. Notre Dame Catholic High School was founded in 1955 by the Most Reverend Lawrence Shehan, who believed "The future of our country depends on our youth. To provide them with sound religious and moral training is a major concern of all of us."

The William H. Pitt Health and Recreation Center is a 2,062-seat multipurpose arena in Fairfield, Connecticut on the campus of Sacred Heart University. It was opened in August 1997 and is home to Sacred Heart University men's and women's basketball, men's and women's volleyball, men's wrestling and fencing. It hosted the finals of the 2008 Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament. Constructing the facility cost $13.8 million. The William H. Pitt Health and Recreation Center has three levels and houses four basketball courts, a fitness center, an aerobics and fencing room, and a sports medicine and rehabilitation center. Outdoors near the Pitt Center, there is an artificial turf athletic field with an eight-lane outdoor running track, six artificial surface tennis courts, and several grass fields and trails around campus.In 2007, the Pitt Center underwent major renovations. On the lower level, a wrestling room, a weight room, more locker room space, and new floors were added. The Pitt Center also was re-painted.

Campus Field is a 3,334-seat multi-purpose stadium in Fairfield, Connecticut. It is home to the Sacred Heart University Pioneers football team and the Pioneers Men's soccer team. The facility opened in 1993. The field and track located at Campus Field were modernized and renovated in the summer of 2008.

WCUM (1450 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish tropical format simulcasting WRYM (840 AM) & WWCO (1240 AM). Licensed to Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States, it serves the Bridgeport area. WCUM’s transmitter and studios are both located on State Street and Chopsey Road in Bridgeport. The station is owned by David Webster, through licensee Trignition Media, LLC. The station was known as WNAB until 1985 when it left the air. It returned with an oldies format later that year as WJBX and later became Radio Cumbre in 1989. And then was purchased by David Webster of Trignition Media, LLC on June 11, 2023. On July 11, 2023 WCUM began simulcasting WRYM.

Trumbull Center is a section or neighborhood of the town of Trumbull in Fairfield County, Connecticut in New England. It is considered the center of the town, and was the seat of town government from 1883 through 1957. The Pequonnock River flows through the center in an easterly direction. The main thoroughfare is Connecticut Route 127 (aka Church Hill Road & White Plains Road). The area was listed as a census-designated place (CDP) prior to the 2020 census.

Madison Elementary School is a public school located at 376 Wayne Street in the Bridgeport Public Schools District. Madison Elementary School was built in 1916 named after the fourth president under the United States Declaration of Independence, James Madison. It is considered one of the oldest schools in the Bridgeport Public Schools District.
