Emirates (Arabic: طيران الإمارات) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. It is located very close to Dubai International Airport. The station is connected to the entrance of the Emirates Group headquarters.

The Roads and Transport Authority (Arabic: هيئة الطرق والمواصلات), commonly known as RTA, is the major independent government roads & transportation authority in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 2005 and is responsible for planning and executing transport and traffic projects, along with legislation and strategic plans of transportation in the city. It is a department of the Government of Dubai.

Airport Terminal 3 (Arabic: لمطار- مبنى رقم 3) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving the Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport.The station opened as part of the Red Line on 9 September 2009. It is close to the Emirates Group Headquarters. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.The station consists of 2 tracks and 2 exits, one for getting off the station and one for connecting to the airport.

Emirates Flight 521 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Thiruvananthapuram, India, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operated by Emirates using a Boeing 777-300. On 3 August 2016, the aircraft carrying 282 passengers and 18 crew crashed while landing at Dubai International Airport.All 300 people on board survived the accident; 32 were injured, four were seriously injured. An airport firefighter died during the rescue operation, and another seven firefighters were injured. The accident is the only hull loss of an Emirates aircraft.

Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 is an airport terminal at Dubai International Airport serving Dubai, UAE. When completed and opened on 14 October 2008, it was the largest building in the world by floor area and is currently the world's largest airport terminal, with over 1,713,000 m2 (18,440,000 sq ft) of space. The partly underground Terminal 3 was built at a cost of US$4.5 billion, exclusively for Emirates and has a capacity of 43 million passengers. However it was announced on 6 September 2012 that Terminal 3 would no longer be Emirates exclusive, as Emirates and Qantas had set up an extensive code sharing agreement. Qantas would be the second and only one of two airlines to fly in and out of Terminal 3. This deal also allows Qantas to use the A380 Dedicated Concourse A. The terminal has 5 Airbus A380 gates at Concourse B, and 18 at Concourse A. (though since 2018, Qantas no longer flies to Dubai, as nonstop QF9/10 from Perth to London were launched and A380 again routed via Singapore instead). In December 2018, flydubai commenced flights from Terminal 3 to selected destinations to facilitate transfers to/from Emirates.

Al Falah University or AFU (Arabic: جامعة الفلاح) is a university in the Al Garhoud neighborhood of Dubai in the Emirate of Dubai. The institution was established in 2013 and opened its doors for its first batch of students in 2015. It is currently inactive; the university was put on probation by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in the United Arab Emirates in October 2021, and its accreditation and license were revoked around October 2022.The University had four colleges and academic programs: the College of Business Administration, the College of Law, the College of Mass Communication, and the College of Arts and Humanities. As of October 2022, the University's website has removed mention of its programs and admissions.

Gulf Indian High School or GIHS is a CBSE affiliated school located in the Al Garhoud Area of Dubai . It is a senior secondary school with students from 3-17 of age accommodating classes from KG to 12. Students in 12th prepare for their All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) as it is their senior and final year. The school is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi. Dominated by discipline and well knit community, assessed by the KHDA it has been coming out with an 'Acceptable' consistently throughout the years. John M. Thomas, the school's founder and chairman, died in July 2022.

InterContinental Dubai Festival City is a luxury five-star hotel in Dubai Festival City, United Arab Emirates, operated by IHG Hotels & Resorts. It is located on the Dubai Creek, adjoining the Dubai Festival City Mall, opposite the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, with the Burj Khalifa behind in the distance. It is also close to Dubai International Airport. Construction of the hotel started in 2005 and it was completed by 2007. The architect of the hotel was 3D/International.The structure of the hotel is based on that of sailboats, with a curved facade facing the Dubai Creek, providing a panoramic view of Dubai. The hotel is used for both business and leisure. The hotel has 34 storeys. It features dining by the three-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire. A glass-bottomed swimming pool protrudes from the building. The hotel is one of several IHG hotels in Dubai Festival City. It adjoins a Crowne Plaza hotel. Close to the hotel is the InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City. The front hotel facade is lit with coloured animated LED lighting at night. An evening laser light show with computer-controlled fountains in the former marina next to the hotel and mall includes projections onto the side facade of the hotel. An abra ferry service runs across the Dubai Creek during the day from outside the hotel to Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station, linked to Creek metro station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro.

Etisalat (Arabic: اتصالات) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE.Trial running began in October 2010, with the station inaugurated on 9 September 2011 and opened to the public the next day, 10 September 2011.The station is located on Al Nahda Street, between Al Qusais and Al Twar, and north of Dubai International Airport. It is close to Al Qusais Pond Park. It is also close to the junction of Al Nahda Street with the major Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E 311).The station continues to the network's depot.

Centrepoint (Arabic: سنتربوينت, Arabic pronunciation: [sintr bu'int]) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE.The eastern terminus of the line, it is one of 3 metro stations with a park and ride lot, the others being Etisalat and Jabal Ali.The station was previously known as Rashidiya, on 4th August 2021 it was renamed as Centrepoint.
