Daikanyamachō, Shibuya

Daikan-yama Station (代官山駅, Daikan-yama-eki) is a railway station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation.

Higashi (東) is a residential district of the Shibuya ward in Tokyo surrounded by the residential areas of Hiroo, Ebisu, Daikanyama and Aoyama. Prince Hitachi and Princess Hitachi have their official residence in a palace in large gardens off Komazawadori in Higashi.The main campus of the Kokugakuin University is in Higashi. All literature, economics, law and Shinto studies students populate the Shibuya campus. At the end of January, 2006, it was decided that the name of the main building, which was recently developed, would be Wakagi Tower (若木タワー, Wakagi Tawā). Shibuya Station and Ebisu Station serve as the nearest rail stations. There are bus services from Shibuya and Ebisu, serving the educational campuses in Higashi and the Japanese Red Cross Medical Center in Hiroo.

Shibuya Stream (Japanese: 渋谷ストリーム) is a skyscraper and retail complex completed in 2018 in the Shibuya shopping district of Tokyo, Japan. The building is located in the space vacated when the Tōkyū Tōyoko Line terminal in Shibuya was relocated underground in 2013. Shibuya Stream hosts Google's Japan head office as well as the Excel Tokyu Shibuya Stream hotel.

Ebisuminami (恵比寿南, Ebisuminami) is a small district of Shibuya, Tokyo, located to the southeast of Ebisu Station. The district is often perceived as a portion of the broad-sense Ebisu area. Ebisuminami borders Ebisu district in the narrow sense on the northwest across Ebisu Station, the mailing address for which is Ebisuminami, rather than Ebisu, Shibuya. The Statue of Ebisu (えびす像), built in 1975, in front of Ebisu Station's west exit is a landmark of the Ward of Shibuya.The beverage company Calpis (カルピス) is headquartered in Ebisu Minami 2-chōme.

The Kyu Asakura House (旧朝倉家住宅, Kyū Asakura Jūtaku, literally "Old Asakura House") is a historic house located in Shibuya, Tokyo. The house includes a large garden reminiscent of roji, a kind of garden that surrounds a teahouse.

Tsutaya Books Daikanyama, also known as T-site Daikanyama, is a bookstore in the Daikanyama neighbourhood of Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Housed in an award-winning purpose-built complex, it has been named by the Financial Times as one of "the most brilliant bookshops in the world". It is a branch of the Tsutaya chain of video rental shops and bookstores operated by Culture Convenience Club throughout Japan and Taiwan. The building was designed by Klein Dytham Architecture in 2011. In 2013 it won the Grand Prize at the Design for Asia Awards, and an award for best shopping centre at the World Architecture Festival. Its design concept has been described as "library in a forest", with a layout and T-shaped design motifs that reflect Tsutaya's logo.

The Shibuya River (渋谷川, Shibuya-gawa) is a river which flows through central Tokyo, Japan. The river is 2.6 km in length originating close to Shibuya Station and passing through Shibuya and Minato wards before merging with the Furu River near Hiroo and flowing into Tokyo Bay near Shiba Koen. The Inner Circular Route is built above the lower course of the river. The Shibuya River banks are predominantly unlandscaped; the major tributary of the river, the Onden River, originates in Sendagaya and passes largely unnoticed directly under Cat Street in the heart of Ura-Harajuku. The Onden River merges with the Uda River in central Shibuya forming the Shibuya River which then flows directly under Shibuya Station as a covered concrete drain.Redevelopment plans for Shibuya Station include the prospect of a more accessible Shibuya River with landscaping and pedestrian access.

Ebisu Station (恵比寿駅, Ebisu-eki) is a railway station in the Ebisu neighborhood of Tokyo's Shibuya ward, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro. The station is named after Yebisu Beer, which was once brewed in an adjacent brewery, and which is itself named for the Japanese deity Ebisu.

Ebisu (恵比寿) is major district of Shibuya-ku in Tokyo, Japan. It was developed on the site of a former brewery and is now home to Yebisu Garden Place. It has a high concentration of bars and restaurants.

Completed in January 1997, Ebisu Prime Square is located at the Shibuya-bashi intersection where the tradition of Hiroo meets the trend of Ebisu. The square is composed of the Office Tower, home to foreign companies and IT firms; the Plaza, with a variety of stores; and the City Tower, offering luxury apartments.

Kokugakuin University (國學院大學; Kokugakuin Daigaku, abbreviated as 國學大 Kokugakudai or 國大 Kokudai) is a private university, whose main office is in Tokyo's Shibuya district. The academic programs and research include Shinto study, Japanese history, Japanese and Chinese literature and Community development, as well as the study of economics, jurisprudence and pedagogy . It was established in 1882.
