Owned by Section Paloise until 1993, the stadium has since been reduced in capacity but continues to host youth matches. Due to safety concerns and financial difficulties, La Section moved to the Stade du Hameau in the 1990s and ultimately sold the Croix du Prince to the local council. Despite its decline in the 1990s and the stands' demolition in March 2019, the Stade de la Croix du Prince remains a cherished landmark in Pau, reflecting the rich history and passion for rugby in the region.

Pau-Pyrénées Whitewater Stadium (French: Stade d'eaux-vives Pau-Pyrénées) is the home training facility for the French national canoe slalom team. It was first used to train the French team for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. It 2009, it was the first of three venues used in the canoe slalom World Cup. It is also a whitewater park for recreational use by the general public.

The station is situated in the valley of the Gave de Pau, some 30 metres (98 ft) below the city centre. It is linked to the city centre by the Funiculaire de Pau, which climbs out of the valley to the Boulevard des Pyrénées and Place Royale. It is also served by buses and taxis.

The Funiculaire de Pau, or Pau Funicular, is a funicular railway in the city of Pau in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques département of southwestern France. It links the Boulevard des Pyrénées, on the level of the city centre and the Château de Pau, to Pau railway station in the valley of the Gave de Pau below.
