Canet-en-Roussillon (French pronunciation: [kane ɑ̃ ʁusijɔ̃]; Catalan: Canet de Rosselló, [kəˈnɛt ˈde rusəˈʎo]; Occitan: Canet de Rosselhon, [kaˈnet de ruseˈʎu]) is a commune and town in the French department of the Pyrénées-Orientales, administrative region of Occitania.

The Têt (French: [tɛt] ; Catalan: Tet) is the largest river in Pyrénées-Orientales, southwestern France. It is 115 kilometres (71 mi) long. The Têt has its source at the foot of the Puig de la Cometa de l'Espagne in the Carlit massif in the eastern Pyrenees. It crosses the Pyrénées-Orientales département (Northern Catalonia) from West to East and ends in the Mediterranean Sea, near Perpignan (Catalan: Perpinyà).

The Agly (French pronunciation: [aɡli] ; Catalan: Aglí; Occitan: Aglin) is a river located in southern France.With a length of 79.9 km (49.6 mi), it originates in the hills of the Corbières Massif near Camps-sur-l'Agly. The river passes through various towns and villages including Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, Estagel, Rivesaltes and Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque before it flows into the Mediterranean Sea near Le Barcarès.
