Fosses (French pronunciation: [fos] ) is a commune in the Val-d'Oise department in Île-de-France in northern France.

The canton of Fosses is an administrative division of the Val-d'Oise department, Île-de-France region, northern France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Fosses. It consists of the following communes:

The Borne Blanche station is a French railway station on the Paris–Lille railway line, situated on the commune of Orry-la-Ville, in the Oise, in the Hauts-de-France region. The station is situated at a distance of 850 m (2,790 ft) from the centre of Orry-la-Ville and 2 km (1.2 mi) from Orry-la-Ville-Coye station. The station is on the borders of the Chantilly Forest. It is considered as a railway halt by the SNCF, served by the RER D.

The Château de Châtenay is located in Châtenay-en-France, 24 kilometres (15 mi) north of Paris. The estate stretches over more than 19 hectares (47 acres) of land and shelters a 19th-century castle, an 18th-century farm and the orangerie. Its romantic garden has remained essentially unchanged for more than a century.

Goussainville (French pronunciation: [ɡusɛ̃vil] ) is a commune in the department of Val-d'Oise, northern France. It is located 20.6 km (12.8 mi) north-northeast from the centre of Paris, near Charles de Gaulle Airport. Goussainville is part of the urban unit (agglomeration) of Paris.Goussainville was the site of the crash of the supersonic Tupolev Tu-144 during the 1973 Paris Air Show which led to the deaths of all six people on board and eight more on the ground and is less than 6 km from Gonesse, the site of the crash of the supersonic Concorde operating as Air France Flight 4590 on 25 July 2000. In 1974, a year after the deadly Tupolev Tu-144 crash, Charles de Gaulle Airport opened—putting the small commune directly in the flight path of the busy airport. The constant noise was a major disturbance and acted as a "constant reminder of the deadly crash."
