Sri Padmanabha Theatre is a cinema theatre in the South Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Located in Chalai, it was opened in 1936 and is one of the oldest theatres in Kerala. Sri Padmanabha is known among the filmfest delegates as one of the venue for the International Film Festival of Kerala. It is considered as part of cinema culture of Thiruvananthapuram.

Orma or One leaf international film festival is a festival organized by the Kerala Information and Public Relations Department in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

The International Film Festival of Kerala (abbreviated as IFFK) is a film festival held annually in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, India. This film festival started in 1996 and is hosted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala. The festival is held in November or December every year and is acknowledged as one of the leading cultural events in India. Several national and international films have their premiers at the IFFK each year. Competition section is limited to 14 selected films produced in Asia, Africa or Latin America. The festival also has a section devoted to Malayalam cinema. On the lines of the IFFK, the Chalachitra Academy also organises the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala. The Academy also organized a regional film festival in 2022, Regional International Film Festival of Kerala held in Kochi.

Pattom is a dense commercial region of Thiruvananthapuram city in Kerala, India. It is located approximately 4 kilometres north of centre of Thampanoor. Pattom is largely a residential area, also housing few important administration offices of Kerala State and a few shopping complexes. Pattom is a major stop for buses plying to and from Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station and City Bus Station at East Fort. It makes as one of the busy intersections in Thiruvananthapuram with the meeting point of four roads including NH 66 to North Kerala as well as a Road to Kowdiar Palace. Trivandrum International Airport at Shanghumugham is 7 km (4.3 mi) away and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station is 4 km (2.5 mi) away. Pattom is home to a significant Christian community. Cardinal Baselios Cleemis, the head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, served as the archbishop of St. Mary's Cathedral in Pattom prior to being elevated to the College of Cardinals.
