Château La Conseillante

Château L'Évangile, archaically Fazilleau, is a Bordeaux wine estate from the appellation Pomerol. The winery is located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Pomerol in the department Gironde. As all wine produced in this appellation, Château L'Évangile is unclassified, but the estate is estimated among the great growths of the region. Placed on the eastern outskirts of Pomerol, the vineyard lies in a cluster with Vieux Château Certan, Château Pétrus, Château La Conseillante, near the border of Saint-Émilion and its nearest estate Château Cheval Blanc.

As all wine produced in this appellation, Vieux Château Certan is unclassified, but the estate is long recognised as among the great growths of the region, and by some reckoned comparable to neighbouring estate Château Pétrus. The château also produces a second wine named Gravette de Certan.

Pétrus is a Bordeaux, France, wine estate located in the Pomerol appellation near its eastern border to Saint-Émilion. A small estate of just 11.4 hectares (28 acres), it produces a red wine entirely from Merlot grapes (since the end of 2010), and produces no second wine. The estate belongs to Jean-François Moueix and his children. Although the wines of Pomerol have never been classified, Pétrus is widely regarded as the outstanding wine of the appellation. Pétrus leads a duo of Pomerol estates in extreme prices, along with Le Pin, that rank consistently among the world's most expensive wines. A 750 ml bottle of Pétrus wine is priced at an average of $2,630.

As all wine produced in this appellation, Château Trotanoy is unclassified, but the estate is estimated among the great growths of the region. A second wine of Château Trotanoy, L’Esperance de Trotanoy, which made its debut with the 2009 vintage. 500 cases of L’Esperance de Trotanoy were produced. L’Esperance de Trotanoy is not made in every vintage.

The winery is located in the northern part of the Saint-Émilion commune, close to the border of Pomerol. A second wine is produced from the vineyard's younger vines, Petit Corbin-Despagne.
