Jarville-la-Malgrange (French pronunciation: [ʒaʁvil la malɡʁɑ̃ʒ]) is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France. The Château de la Malgrange was a ducal residence of the House of Lorraine here.

Nancy–Essey Airport (IATA: ENC, ICAO: LFSN) is a regional airport in France, located about 4 km (2 miles) east of Nancy (in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department of the Grand Est region) and about 320 km (199 miles) east of Paris. It used to be the main airport for Nancy; however, commercial airline traffic was moved to the new Metz-Nancy-Lorraine Airport in 1991. The airfield is open to domestic and international non-scheduled commercial, private aircraft, for IFR and VFR, supporting general aviation and charter aircraft operations.

The 18th-century French historian, diplomat and Encyclopédiste Jean-Baptiste Luton Durival (1725–1810) died in Heillecourt as well as his brother Nicolas Luton Durival (1713–1795).

Saulxures-lès-Nancy (French pronunciation: [solsyʁ lɛ nɑ̃si], literally Saulxures near Nancy) is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France, located 6 km (3.7 mi) east of Nancy. The commune covers an area of 7.05 km² (2.72 sq mi). Bernard Girsch is the mayor for the 2020-2026 tenure. The Château de Saulxures de Nancy dates from the reign of Louis XV, and was built c1730 by Count Claude-Marcel de Rutant, an ally of the Duke of Lorraine.The parish church of St Martin dates from the 18th century and was extended in the 1840s. The village has a primary school named after the author Maurice Barrès.

The Battle of Nancy was the final and decisive battle of the Burgundian Wars, fought outside the walls of Nancy on 5 January 1477 by Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, against René II, Duke of Lorraine, and the Swiss Confederacy. René's forces won the battle, and Charles' mutilated body was found three days later.

The Church of Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours is a historic church located in Nancy, France. It used to be the resting place of the Polish king Stanisław Leszczyński, who was the last duke of Lorraine. A large stone relief of the coat of arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth is located on the clock tower on the main front.

Fléville-devant-Nancy (French pronunciation: [flevil dəvɑ̃ nɑ̃si], literally Fléville before Nancy) is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France.

The Château de Fléville is a castle located in the commune of Fléville-devant-Nancy, Meurthe-et-Moselle, in Lorraine, France. The current structure was completed in 1533 in the French Renaissance architecture style, but includes a donjon built in 1320. Fléville was one of the few châteaux in Lorraine spared by Cardinal Richelieu (acting on the orders of Louis XIII) after the Thirty Years' War.
