Barnsjön

Långsjön (Swedish for "Long Lake") is a lake in the Tyresån Lake System located on the border between Haninge and Tyresö Municipalities in Stockholm County, Sweden. Flowing west to east, the lake receives water from Lake Drevviken and empties into Tyresö-Flaten, and separates two residential areas — Skälsätra north of it and Tutviken south of it. It is a shallow lake with step shores surrounded by flat rock terrain. Its water used to be unsuitable for bathing due to high bacteria levels, but the situation has improved lately and bacteria levels in the lake are now in pair with the rest of the lake system, most likely due to decreased surface runoff caused by warmer winters. Levels of phosphorus and nitrogen are very high. The buffering capacity is very good.Few species are contained in the lake, the aquatic vegetation of which is limited to some reeds.

Bollmora is the central district and municipal seat of Tyresö Municipality in Sweden. Together with major parts of the other two main districts of Tyresö, Trollbäcken and Gamla Tyresö, Bollmora forms a conurbation with Stockholm. Bollmora derives its name from Bollmora farm (Bollmora gård) which was located near current day Njupkärrsvägen–Industrivägen intersection. Up until the 1950s Bollmora was a village, but in conjunction to the large migration to Stockholm in 1950s and 1960s, Bollmora expanded. The large expansion was made possible by Lex Bollmora from 1959, a legislation that made possible for municipal real estate companies to operate in other municipalities than their own. The municipal real estate companies of Stockholm started immediately constructing in Bollmora after the legislation came into effect. Many of the apartment building areas of Bollmora are from the Million Programme origin. Bollmora centre (Bollmora centrum) was inaugurated in 1965, and it was fairly ordinary small-town centre with pedestrian streets. The centre underwent a major overhaul to an enclosed shopping mall in early 1990s. It was renamed Tyresö centre (Tyresö centrum) and the new centre was inaugurated in 1992. Lake Barnsjön is a popular spot for bathing and fishing.

The municipal hall (kommunhus) is located there inside Tyresö Centrum, an enclosed shopping mall. A bus terminal is placed next to the shopping mall, providing bus lines to and from the various parts of Tyresö Municipality, and the neighbouring municipalities, including Stockholm, Haninge and Nacka. Tyresövallen, previous known as Bollmoravallen, is a football stadium in Tyresö, Sweden. The main tenants of the stadium are the football team Tyresö FF and the American football team Tyresö AFF Royal Crowns. The stadium holds least 2,700 people.

Tyresö-Flaten is a lake in Tyresö Municipality, south of Stockholm, Sweden. The lake forms part of the Tyresån lake system and as such is considered important for recreational activities such as angling and bathing. Common fish species include perch, zander pike, lake trout, carp bream, and roach.

Öringesjön is a lake in Stockholm County, Södermanland, Sweden. It is located on the border of Nacka Municipality and Tyresö Municipality.

Trollbäcken is a district of Tyresö Municipality in Sweden. It is located south of Bollmora along county road 260. Trollbäcken contains almost exclusively detached houses. In the area of Trollbäcken centre (Trollbäckens centrum), also known as Alléplan, there are some multi-apartment buildings and commercial structures. There are also a couple of restaurants near "Trollbäcken centrum" such as "lila rött" and "sushi niko" In 1910 the land of Kumla manor was sold and divided into lots. During the 1920s to 1930s there was a lot of summer cottage development in that area. From the 1950s and onwards the cottages began to be converted into permanent dwellings in a large scale. Trollbäcken housed the municipal executive board of Tyresö from the 1940s until the Bollmora centre was built. Trollbäcken has as of January 1, 2004 11,715 inhabitants, which is 29.2% of the population of Tyresö Municipality. Lake Barnsjön is a popular spot for bathing and fishing.

Gimmersta is a locality situated in Tyresö Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 354 inhabitants in 2010.

Gamla Tyresö (meaning Old Tyresö) is a district of Tyresö Municipality in Sweden. It consists of the eastern half of the municipality, containing the Tyresö Strand and Raksta areas, the long Brevik peninsula, and the vast forest in the south. Gamla Tyresö contains almost exclusively detached houses and summer cottages. The Tyresö Strand area has since mid-1990s been built with a higher density with tightly packed detached, semi-detached and terraced houses. There is a small amount of apartment buildings and commercial establishments around Strandtorget. Tyresö Palace and Tyresö Church from 17th century are located in Gamla Tyresö as well. The forest in south contains about half of Tyresta National Park on the Tyresö side. Located on the Brevik peninsula, southeast of Trinntorp, is Telegrafberget 84 m (276 ft) above sea level, from where one has a view all the way to central Stockholm.

Albysjön (Swedish for "Lake of Alby") is a lake in Tyresö Municipality just south of Stockholm in Sweden. Albysjön is the last lake in the Tyresån Lake System. Surrounded by green spaces and pastures, it is popular for bathing, angling, canoeing, and other open-air activities. Motor engines are prohibited.
