The Rock art Natural Reserve of Ceto, Cimbergo and Paspardo is a nature reserve located in Valle Camonica, Province of Brescia, Lombardy, Italy. It was established in 1988.The Reserve is a large protected area, mostly wooded, which extends for about 290 ha. Inside the Reserve there are at least 420 rock surfaces with rock engraves declared in 1979 World Heritage by UNESCO. Val Camonica or Valcamonica (Eastern Lombard: Al Camònega), also Valle Camonica and anglicized as Camonica Valley, is one of the largest valleys of the central Alps, in eastern Lombardy, Italy. It extends about 90 kilometres (56 mi) from the Tonale Pass to Corna Trentapassi, in the commune of Pisogne near Lake Iseo. It has an area of about 1,335 km2 (515 sq mi) and 118,323 inhabitants. The River Oglio runs through its full length, rising at Ponte di Legno and flowing into Lake Iseo between Pisogne and Costa Volpino. Almost all of the valley is included in the administrative territory of the province of Brescia, except for Lovere, Rogno, Costa Volpino and the Val di Scalve, which belong to the province of Bergamo. Since 1979, the rock drawings located along the valley are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while the entire valley became a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2018.

Cemmo, (camunian dialect: Hèm) is a frazione of Capo di Ponte, located right of river Oglio, beneath the Concarena. It was one of the first settlements in Val Camonica, as it can be deduced from the numerous rock drawings that have been found here; nowadays it has a population of about 600. It hosts the Pieve of Saint Syrus.

Ono San Pietro (Camunian: Dò) is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is located in the Camonica valley, above the right bank of the river Oglio, and at the foot of Mt. Concarena. Neighbouring communes are Capo di Ponte, Cerveno, Ceto and Paisco Loveno.

The Bedolina Map (formally Rock 1 of Bedolina) is a famous engraved prehistoric rock which is part of the Camonica Valley (Alps, Italian side, Lombardy region) petroglyph complex. It is known as one of the most ancient topographic maps, interpreted as a depiction of cultivated plots, mountain paths and villages. The locality of Bedolina pertains to the Capo di Ponte municipality (BS-I), near the hamlet of Pescarzo. The area is included in the Seradina-Bedolina Archaeologic park, lying on a prominent terrace on the right slope of the Camonica valley, at an altitude of 530 m above the sea level. The rock, a flat surface of Permian sandstone (Verrucano of Lombardy) polished by the Pleistocene glacier, is 9 m long and 4 m wide. A total number of 109 figures were carved during the late Bronze Age and the Iron Age (1000-200 BC), mainly the so-called topographic patterns (dotted squares and zigzagging "paths"), warriors, animals, wooden huts, cup-marks and a Camunnian Rose. The rock has been completely recorded and studied by Miguel Beltrán Llorís (Beltrán Llorís 1972) and more recently by Cristina Turconi, for the Milan University. According to the most recent studies and to the close examination of figures and superimpositions, the best known engraved patterns of the Bedolina Map, precisely "maps", likely pertain to the Iron Age, and more in detail to the central centuries of the 1st millennium BC (6th-4th centuries BC).

Monastero di San Salvatore (Monastery of San Salvatore) is located on the left bank of the Oglio river, in the municipality of Capo di Ponte in Val Camonica, Italy. Established at the end of the 11th century, it was the first and only Cluniac priory in Val Camonica. The monastery is an important example of early medieval Romanesque architecture.

Niardo (Camunian: Gnàrt) is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Neighbouring comuni are Braone, Breno, Losine and Prestine. It was the birthplace of Saint Obitius (Obizio), who is one of the town's patron saints.
