Eshkolot

Al-Ramadin (Arabic: الرماضين) is a Palestinian village located 24 kilometers southwest of Hebron and includes the smaller village of 'Arab al-Fureijat to the southeast. The village is part the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the two villages had a combined population of 4,150 in 2017. The principal families are al-Sho'ur, al-Zagharna, al-Fureijat, al-Daraghmeh, al-Raghmat, al-Mlihat and al-Masamra.Al-Ramadin and 'Arab al-Fureijat were established by Bedouins who fled their traditional homeland in the vicinity of Beersheba in the Negev for the suburbs of ad-Dhahiriya. The name "al-Ramadin" derives from "Ramadan," the patriarch of the main Bedouin tribe that founded the modern village after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. A nine-member village council was appointed by the Palestinian Authority to administer al-Ramadin and Arab al-Fureijat in 1997.There are three active mosques in al-Ramadin, as well as three historic Christian edifices, including the al-Fadi Monastery and al-Asela Church. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Sansana (Hebrew: סַנְסַנָּה) is a religious Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located in the southern Judaean Mountains, to the south-west of Hebron and over the Green Line, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 665. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Lahav (Hebrew: לַהַב, lit. 'Blade') is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located around 20 km north of Beersheba and covering 33,000 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 657.

Tel H̱alif, formerly Tel H̱alifa (Hebrew: תל חליף, Arabic name: Tel el-Khuweilifeh) is an archaeological site, a mound (tell) in northern Negev area, west from kibbutz Lahav, Israel. Albrecht Alt suggested that it is the location of the biblical town of Ziklag. Other evidence suggests Rimmon.Excavcations around Tel Halif was among the research activities of the Cobb Institute of Archaeology as part of the Lahav Research Project arranged by Joe Seger in 1974.

Anab (Hebrew: עֲנָב, romanized: ‘Ǎnāḇ, Anav) is a city mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. It is mentioned in the Book of Joshua as one of the cities in the Judaean Mountains from which Joshua expelled the Anakim.

The Israel National Trail (Hebrew: שביל ישראל, Shvil Yisra'el) is a hiking trail that crosses the entire length of the country of Israel, with its northern end at Kibbutz Kfar Giladi, near the Lebanese border in the far north of the country, extending to Eilat at the southernmost tip of Israel on the Red Sea, with a total length of 1,040 km (650 mi). The trail was inaugurated in 1995. The trail is marked with three stripes (white, blue, and orange), and takes an average of 45–60 days to complete. In October 2019, the trail was extended to include Masada and the Dead Sea area, and in August 2023, it was extended to include a short portion in the Golan Heights. The Israel National Trail has been listed in National Geographic's 20 most "epic trails." It is described as a trail that "delves into the grand scale of biblical landscapes as well as the everyday lives of the modern Israeli."Since January 2016, the Israel National Trail can be explored on Google Street View. The summer months (mid-May to the end of August) are considered too hot. Winter is less popular due to rain, low temperatures and, in the southern sections of the trail, potential flash floods.

Shomria (Hebrew: שׁוֹמְרִיָּה) is a religious kibbutz in southern Israel. Located near Lehavim, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2021, it had a population of 828.

Al-Burj (Arabic: البرج) is a Palestinian village located twenty kilometers (12 mi) southwest of Hebron, in the Hebron Governorate of State of Palestine, in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 3,205 in 2017. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2. Al-Burj is the birth place of Tareq Talahma, Acting Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Teneh Omarim (Hebrew: טֶנֶא עֳמָרִים, also known as Tene, Omarim, or Ma'ale Omarim) is a mixed Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located east of the Israeli West Bank barrier, 2.3 kilometers from the Green line in the southern Hebron Hills just north of Meitar, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law

Carmit Hebrew: כרמית is a community settlement in the northern Negev of Israel within the jurisdiction of Meitar located near Cramim Forest. The community was founded for olim from North America. A neighborhood for ultra-orthodox Jews was also planned. In 2005 the District Planning and Building Commission of the Southern Region approved the construction of 739 housing units for Carmit's Phase A. Residents moved into the first neighborhood during 2013, with the community eventually intended to comprise over 2,500 housing units, each on an area of 1/8 acre (1/2 dunam). Absorption to Carmit is being carried out by the Jewish National Fund, the Jewish Agency, the Meitar local council and the OR Movement that has established six new communities in the Negev and Galilee – Sansana, Merchav Am, Mitzpe Ilan, Haruv, Be'er Milka, and Giv'ot Bar. In 2011, marketing for plots of land began.

Kramim (Hebrew: כְּרָמִים, lit. 'Vineyards') is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located around a kilometer west of Meitar, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 526.

Beit ar-Rush al-Fauqa (Arabic: بيت الروش الفوقا) is a Palestinian village located eighteen kilometers southwest of Hebron.The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,385 in 2017.
