Teneh Omarim

Anab (Hebrew: עֲנָב, romanized: ‘Ǎnāḇ, Anav) is a city mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. It is mentioned in the Book of Joshua as one of the cities in the Judaean Mountains from which Joshua expelled the Anakim.

Ad-Dhahiriya (also Az-Zahiriya) (Arabic: الظاهرية) is a Palestinian city in the Hebron Governorate of the State of Palestine, 22 km southwest of the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, ad-Dhahiriya had a population of 35,924 in 2017.

Khirbet Zanuta (Arabic: خربة زنوتا, meaning "the ruin of Zanuta") is a Palestinian village in the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank, located 20 kilometers south of Hebron. Nearby localities include ad-Dhahiriya to the northwest and Khirbet Shweika to the northwest, as well as two Israeli settlements, Teneh Omarim to the west and Shim'a to the east. The Meitarim industrial zone just to its east was built for the settlers. The village is adjacent to the Green Line. The population of the village was 131 in 2017.According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), Khirbet Zanuta had a population of 60 in the 2007 census. By 2013 it had 130 residents, a large increase from 1997 when six residents were recorded. The four principal families are the as-Samamera, al-Tel, al-Batat and al-Qaysiyah. In 2012 the number of families registered at Zanuta was 27.There are no health care facilities or pharmacies in Khirbet Zanuta and residents travel 10 kilometers to ad-Dhahiriya to obtain those services. Agriculture is the main economic activity, employing most of the village's working residents. The total land area is approximately 12,000 dunams, of which roughly 3,000 are cultivated, mostly with field crops. Much of the remaining land area is considered "open spaces," while one dunam is classified as built-up areas. Israeli authorities are pressing the residents to leave.

Al-Ramadin (Arabic: الرماضين) is a Palestinian village located 24 kilometers southwest of Hebron and includes the smaller village of 'Arab al-Fureijat to the southeast. The village is part the Hebron Governorate in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the two villages had a combined population of 4,150 in 2017. The principal families are al-Sho'ur, al-Zagharna, al-Fureijat, al-Daraghmeh, al-Raghmat, al-Mlihat and al-Masamra.Al-Ramadin and 'Arab al-Fureijat were established by Bedouins who fled their traditional homeland in the vicinity of Beersheba in the Negev for the suburbs of ad-Dhahiriya. The name "al-Ramadin" derives from "Ramadan," the patriarch of the main Bedouin tribe that founded the modern village after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. A nine-member village council was appointed by the Palestinian Authority to administer al-Ramadin and Arab al-Fureijat in 1997.There are three active mosques in al-Ramadin, as well as three historic Christian edifices, including the al-Fadi Monastery and al-Asela Church. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Eshkolot (Hebrew: אֶשְׁכּוֹלוֹת, lit. Bunches) is a secular Israeli settlement in the southern Judaean Mountains of the West Bank. Located around five kilometers from Lahav, it is organized as a community settlement and falls within the jurisdiction of the Har Hevron Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 609. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Sansana (Hebrew: סַנְסַנָּה) is a religious Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located in the southern Judaean Mountains, to the south-west of Hebron and over the Green Line, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 665. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Kramim (Hebrew: כְּרָמִים, lit. 'Vineyards') is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located around a kilometer west of Meitar, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 526.

Al-Burj (Arabic: البرج) is a Palestinian village located twenty kilometers (12 mi) southwest of Hebron, in the Hebron Governorate of State of Palestine, in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 3,205 in 2017. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2. Al-Burj is the birth place of Tareq Talahma, Acting Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

Carmit Hebrew: כרמית is a community settlement in the northern Negev of Israel within the jurisdiction of Meitar located near Cramim Forest. The community was founded for olim from North America. A neighborhood for ultra-orthodox Jews was also planned. In 2005 the District Planning and Building Commission of the Southern Region approved the construction of 739 housing units for Carmit's Phase A. Residents moved into the first neighborhood during 2013, with the community eventually intended to comprise over 2,500 housing units, each on an area of 1/8 acre (1/2 dunam). Absorption to Carmit is being carried out by the Jewish National Fund, the Jewish Agency, the Meitar local council and the OR Movement that has established six new communities in the Negev and Galilee – Sansana, Merchav Am, Mitzpe Ilan, Haruv, Be'er Milka, and Giv'ot Bar. In 2011, marketing for plots of land began.

The Hebron Hills, also known as Mount Hebron (Arabic: جبل الخليل, romanized: Jabal al-Khalīl, Hebrew: הר חברון, romanized: Har Hevron), are a mountain ridge, geographic region, and geologic formation, constituting the southern part of the Judean Mountains. The Hebron Hills are located in the southern West Bank.During the Ottoman period, Mount Hebron served as a stop for farmers and herders, primarily from the deserts of Arabia and Transjordan, who migrated due to factors like severe drought. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, Mount Hebron experienced extensive violence involving rival families and Bedouins, leading to migrations and the destruction of many villages.

Tel Shoket (Hebrew: תל שוקת) is an Israeli tell or archaeological hill in the north of the Negev. It is located adjacent to Highway 60, between the Meitar Interchange and Meitar. Tel Shoket gave name to the Shoket Interchange nearby. At Tel Shoket, there is a Muslim cemetery that serves the residents of the nearby Bedouin town of Hura and the Bedouin villages and hamlets in the region. There also is a grove and some agriculture.

Beit ar-Rush al-Fauqa (Arabic: بيت الروش الفوقا) is a Palestinian village located eighteen kilometers southwest of Hebron.The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,385 in 2017.
