Chadstone is a hamlet in the civil parish of Castle Ashby, West Northamptonshire.

Castle Ashby & Earls Barton railway station is a former railway station in Northamptonshire on the former Northampton and Peterborough Railway, a line which connected Peterborough and Northampton.In 1846 the line, along with the London and Birmingham, became part of the London and North Western Railway. At grouping in 1923 it became part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway.

Castle Ashby is a village and civil parish in the West Northamptonshire unitary authority area of Northamptonshire, England. At the 2011 Census, the population of the parish (including Chadstone) was 111.Historically, the village was set up to service the needs of Castle Ashby House, the seat of the Marquess of Northampton. The village has one small pub-hotel, The Falcon. The village contains many houses rebuilt from the 1860s onwards. These include work by the architect E.F. Law of Northampton, whose work can also be seen nearby at Horton Church. The castle is the result of a licence obtained in 1306, for Walter Langton, Bishop of Coventry, to castellate his mansion in the village of Ashby. The village's name means 'Ash-tree farm/settlement'. There was a castle here, later replaced by the Elizabethan mansion.

The house, church, formal gardens and landscaped park are Grade I listed. The original castle, a manor house, came about as the result of a licence obtained in 1306 by Walter Langton, Bishop of Coventry, to castellate his mansion in the village of Ashby. Sir Gerard Braybroke was at one time of Castle Ashby Manor. It is a leading example of the Elizabethan prodigy house, with a Palladian section closing the front courtyard added in the 18th century.

The civil parish of Cogenhoe and Whiston had a population at the 2011 census of 1,436.The village of Cogenhoe is some five miles (8 km) east of the county town, Northampton. Cogenhoe is situated on high ground overlooking the Nene Valley. It has grown into a large village with varied amenities including football, cricket and bowls clubs. The village has a number of facilities including the sports clubs listed below. Other facilities include a village pub (the Royal Oak), a village shop (Londis), Cogenhoe and Whiston Village Hall and Playing Fields, the Church Rooms, the Cogenhoe Sports and Social Club and a primary school (Cogenhoe Primary School).

Denton is a small village and civil parish on the A428 road about 6 miles (10 km) south-east of Northampton. It has a pub, the Red Lion, a village hall, a Church of England parish church and a primary school. The villages name probably means, 'farm/settlement connected with Dod(d)a/Dud(d)a'.The 2001 Census recorded the parish population as 767, decreasing to 739 at the 2011 census before increasing to 744 in the 2021 census.

It was one of the first villages in Northamptonshire to be given conservation status. The toponym is derived from the Old English words Ecca and tun, meaning "Ecca's farm/settlement."

Grendon is a small village and civil parish in rural Northamptonshire, England, on the borders of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Many houses are made of the local limestone and various older thatched houses survive. The name of the village means "green hill" and today the village remains centred on the hill. As with Earls Barton, the village was owned by Judith, the niece of William the Conqueror. At the time of the 2011 census, the parish population was 544; the village is a popular place to live with commuters to London or Milton Keynes. It is the site of the 19th-century local uprising called the 'Battle of Grendon'. The village is in two parts, separated by a brook. The smaller part of the village is often shown on maps as Lower End whilst the higher (southern) part of the village is at the top of the (steep) hill.
