The Freys are also a substantial but not majority shareholders of Billecart-Salmon, the producer in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.Located in the commune of Ludon, La Lagune has 72 hectares (180 acres) under vine with a grape variety distribution of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot.

Château Dillon is used as a school of agriculture, together with Château La Tour Blanche in Sauternes, Château Réal Caillou in Lalande de Pomerol and Château Grand Baril in Montagne Saint Emilion. It was founded by an Irish origin family.

Blanquefort (French pronunciation: ​[blɑ̃kfɔʁ]; Gascon: Blancahòrt) is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. Blanquefort is an outlying commune of the Bordeaux metropolitan area. The commune consists of historic Blanquefort and Caychac, which is further out from central Bordeaux and was formerly a commune in its own right. Historic Blanquefort includes the ruins of a small medieval fortress and a nineteenth-century park, the Parc de Majolan, complete with a maze-like grotto and small artificial ruins which were in vogue at that time. Blanquefort is well connected to the rest of the agglomeration by the Bordeaux bus services, including services most of the night. It also has a train station with regular services to central Bordeaux. The Bordeaux tram system is projected to connect with Blanquefort in 2013. Blanquefort, which is located in a famous wine-producing area, has a notable educational institution for viticulture.

In 2015 it grew to 2,350 exhibitors (2,400 in 2013) from 42 countries. Current Vinexpo Chief Executive Officer is Guillaume Deglise who was appointed in September, 2013 and left the Company after Vinexpo Hong Kong 2018.

Parc des Expositions – Stade Matmut-Atlantique tram stop is a tram stop on line C of the Tramway de Bordeaux. It is located on Cours Charles Bricaud in the north of the city of Bordeaux. The stop opened on 24 January 2015, when Line C was extended north from Berges du Lac, and it is the current northern terminus of one of the two branches of line C. The stop is operated by Transports Bordeaux Métropole.For most of the day on Mondays to Fridays, trams run at least every ten minutes. Services run less frequently in the early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.The stop has three tracks and three platforms. Although it is the terminus of passenger service on line C, the track continues for some 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) beyond the stop, to the tram depot at La Jallere.
