The Watermill Center is a center for the arts and humanities in Water Mill, New York, founded in 1992 by artist and theater director Robert Wilson.

The Water Mill Museum is a historic water mill and local history museum located at 41 Old Mill Road, Water Mill in Suffolk County, New York, USA. It is a 2-story, heavy wood-frame structure with a wood-shingle exterior and composed of two building sections. There is a 2-story, square-shaped main section and 1-story, one-bay wing. Attached to the rear is a 2+1⁄2-story tower and 1-story glassed-in porch. The mill structure dates to the mid-17th century. It operated as a mill until the early 20th century. It is now a local museum.This local history Museum opens around Memorial Day every year, offering family-friendly exhibits all about this historical hamlet, founded in 1644. Events and experiences abound! The Museum is free, and first floor is handicapped accessible. Rosemary Lodge is a historic home located at Water Mill in Suffolk County, New York. It is a 2+1⁄2-story frame Shingle Style constructed in 1884 as an unfinished shell from plans prepared by architect Frederick W. Stickney. The rear wing was added in 1904. The house features a steep gable roof, broad porch, several upper story projections, and asymmetrical massing. The house was moved to its present site in 1985.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Capt. C. Goodale House is a historic home located at Southampton in Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1875 and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, five bay residence with an original 2-story (flat roofed) rear wing and smaller period wing. It features a central entrance pavilion, mansard roof, and wraparound porch. It is an example of Second Empire architecture. Also on the property is a contributing privy.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Wickapogue Road Historic District is a national historic district located at Southampton in Suffolk County, New York. The district has 17 contributing buildings located on six farmsteads. It is a rare surviving cohesive collection of historic farmsteads which illustrate Southampton's early agrarian settlement and subsequent agricultural development from 1684 to 1910.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Southampton is a station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, on North Main Street between Prospect Street and Willow Street in Southampton, New York. (Prospect and Willow Streets are on the west side of North Main Street, but the station is located on the east side.)

A location of Stony Brook Medicine, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is a New York State-designated Stroke Center and the home of the first Level III Trauma Center on the East End of Long Island. The hospital admits more than 6,000 patients annually and has about 25,000 emergency department visits each year (about 50% during the summer season). The hospital officially became part of the Stony Brook Medicine healthcare system on August 1, 2017.
