Kfar HaRif

Al-Masmiyya al-Saghira (Arabic: المسمية الصغيرة), also known as Mamsiyyat al-Hurani and al-Huraniyya, was a Palestinian Arab village in the Gaza Subdistrict, located 42 kilometers (26 mi) northeast of Gaza. It was situated at an elevation of 60 meters (200 ft) in the southern coastal plain of Ottoman Syria. Established in the late 19th century by locals from its twin Al-Masmiyya al-Kabira, Hamula clan of Al-Hurani, following fueds with other residents. Al-Masmiyya al-Saghira was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, but prior to that, in 1945, it had a population of 530 inhabitants.

Yinon (Hebrew: יִנּוֹן, lit. 'it shall flourish') is a moshav in southern Israel. Located near Kiryat Malakhi, it falls under the jurisdiction of Be'er Tuvia Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,215.

Al-Masmiyya al-Kabira (Arabic: المسمية الكبيرة) was a Palestinian village in the Gaza Subdistrict, located 41 kilometers (25 mi) northeast of Gaza. With a land area of 20,687 dunams, the village site (135 dunams) was situated on an elevation of 75 meters (246 ft) along the coastal plain. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Before the war, it had a population of 2,520 in 1945.

On 16 February 2024, a mass shooting took place at a bus station at the Re'em Junction along Highway 40 in Kiryat Malakhi, a city in Southern District, Israel. Two people were killed and four injured, with the shooter killed by an off-duty Israel Defense Force (IDF) reservist at the scene.

Achva Academic College is a public academic institution located within the jurisdiction of Beer Tuvia Regional Council. Achva Academic College offers accredited undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields such as science, education, social sciences, and humanities. With 3,200 students, 500 lecturers, and 20 fields of study including special education, mathematics teaching, psychology, and more, the college also provides diploma studies, continuing education, and preparatory programs. Emphasizing a multicultural approach, it serves surrounding areas, welcoming diverse student groups, including those with special needs.

Al-Tina, or Khirbet et-Tineh was a Palestinian Arab village in the Ramle Subdistrict of Mandatory Palestine. The village was located between the Shfela and southern Israeli coastal plain. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War on July 8, 1948, by the Givati Brigade under Operation An-Far. It was located 20. km south of Ramla. The hill on which the village was built stands today next to the Kiryat Mal'akhi – Yoav railway station and next to Highway 6. Archeological excavations at the site revealed the remains of a Byzantine settlement.

Bnei Re'em (Hebrew: בְּנֵי רְאֵ"ם, lit. Sons of Re'em) is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located in the Shephelah, it falls under the jurisdiction of Nahal Sorek Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,416.

Ahva (Hebrew: אַחֲוָה, Aḥava, lit. Brotherhood) is a village in the northern Negev desert of southern Israel. It falls under the jurisdiction of Be'er Tuvia Regional Council and had a population of 279 in 2021.The village was established in 1976 for civil servants of the regional council. It is adjacent to the Ahva Academic College and acts as a service center for the surrounding settlements, including Kfar Ahim, Kfar HaRif, Talmei Yehiel and Yenon.Ahva was founded on the lands of the depopulated Palestinian village of Al-Masmiyya al-Kabira.

Arugot (Hebrew: עֲרוּגוֹת, lit. 'garden terraces or beds'), is a moshav in southern Israel. Located near Kiryat Malakhi, it falls under the jurisdiction of Be'er Tuvia Regional Council. In 2021 its population was 1,145.

Kiryat Mal'akhi–Yoav railway station (Hebrew: תחנת רכבת קריית מלאכי – יואב) is a railway station in southern Israel, next to Kfar Menahem and Highway 6. It is named after the closest city, Kiryat Mal'akhi, and the adjoining Yoav Regional Council. It opened in late 2018. The station was envisioned as part of the renovation works for the railway to Beersheba, but a budget had not been allocated, so only the station's platforms were originally built. In 2016, a tender was published for the construction of the station. In 2017, the proposed name was changed from Kfar Menahem to Kiryat Mal'akhi – Yoav, despite it being located 14 km (8.7 mi) from the city.

Tall al-Turmus (Arabic: تل الترمس) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Gaza Subdistrict, located on a low hill on the coastal plain of Palestine, 38 kilometers (24 mi) northeast of Gaza. In 1945, it had a population of 760 and a land area of 11,508 dunams. The village was depopulated during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

al-'Azi (Arabic: العازي, Hebrew: אל עזי) is an Arab village in Israel. Located just south of Kfar Menahem, it falls under the jurisdiction of Yoav Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 200. The village was officially recognized in 2003 but existed long before then. The Trans-Israel Highway was built on land owned by the village, with the village given land owned by neighbouring kibbutz Kfar Menahem as compensation.
