Noisy-le-Sec station

Noisy-le-Sec (French pronunciation: [nwazi lə sɛk] (listen)) is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 8.6 km (5.3 mi) from the center of Paris.

Bobigny–Pablo Picasso (French pronunciation: ​[bɔbiɲi pablo pikaso]) is the northern terminus of Line 5 of the Paris Métro, as well as a stop on Île-de-France tramway Line 1. Also, it will be a station on Paris Metro Line 15 in the future. The metro station was opened in 1985, followed by the tram stop seven years later. The name refers to the commune of Bobigny and to Rue Pablo Picasso, named after the Spanish modern artist Pablo Picasso. In 2013, the station was used by 7,135,266 passengers, which makes it the 38th busiest of the Métro network, out of 302 stations.In 2020, the station was used by 4,752,569 passengers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, making it the 20th busiest of the Métro network, out of 305 stations.

Côteaux Beauclair (French pronunciation: ​[koto boklɛʁ]) is a future station on line 11 of the Paris Métro. The station is situated on the communes of Rosny-sous-Bois and Noisy-le-Sec and slated to open in spring 2024. It is set to become Line 11's first and only station that's not underground, being located on a short viaduct.

Bondy (French pronunciation: ​[bɔ̃di]) is a commune in the northeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 10.9 km (6.8 mi) from the centre of Paris, in the Seine-Saint-Denis department. In 2019, it had a population of 54,587.

Drancy internment camp (French: Camp d'internement de Drancy) was an assembly and detention camp for confining Jews who were later deported to the extermination camps during the German occupation of France during World War II. Originally conceived and built as a modernist urban community under the name La Cité de la Muette, it was located in Drancy, a northeastern suburb of Paris, France. Between 22 June 1942 and 31 July 1944, during its use as an internment camp, 67,400 French, Polish, and German Jews were deported from the camp in 64 rail operations, which included 6,000 children. Only 1,542 prisoners remained alive at the camp when the German authorities in Drancy fled as Allied forces advanced and the Swedish Consul-General Raoul Nordling took control of the camp on 17 August 1944, before handing it over to the French Red Cross to care for the survivors.Drancy was under the control of the French police until 1943 when administration was taken over by the SS, which placed officer Alois Brunner in charge of the camp. In 2001, Brunner's case was brought before a French court by Nazi hunter Serge Klarsfeld, which sentenced Brunner in absentia to a life sentence for crimes against humanity.
