Kontich

Edegem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈeːdəɣɛm], first mentioned as Buizegem in 1173) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Edegem proper. In 2021, Edegem had a total population of 22,244 The total area is 8.65 km². The old Sint-Antoniuskerk (church of Saint Anthony) is no longer open to the public. It is not sure when it was first built (some sources go back as far as the 16th century). The absence of heavy industry makes Edegem a typical commuter town. Despite its location next to the metropolis of the city of Antwerp, Edegem is not fully urbanized.

The Beerschot Tennis Club, now known as the Royal Beerschot Tennis and Hockey Club is a field hockey and tennis club founded in 1899 in Kontich, Belgium, located in neighboring Antwerp. It hosted the tennis events for the 1920 Summer Olympics.

It is a small community, and is said to be one of the most expensive areas in Belgium. Many people pay large sums of money to live there because it is one of the safest places in Belgium. As a consequence Hove ranks 5th on the list of Belgian municipalities by average annual income per capita in 2019.

In 2021, Boechout had a total population of 13,526. The total area is 20.66 km².Boechout also hosts the Sfinks Festival.

Mortsel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈmɔrtsəl]) is a city and municipality close to the city of Antwerp located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the city of Mortsel proper. In 2021, Mortsel had a total population of 26,170 people. The total area is 7.78 km².

Mortsel-Oude-God is a railway station in Mortsel, just south of the city of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium. The station opened in 1836 on the Line 25. The station is partly in a tunnel, under a car park and road. Originally the station was unplanned and the name was first given to the current Mortsel Liersesteenweg station, located on line 27. However, due to complaints by shop owners and inhabitants of the nearby Statielei, the NMBS built a new station on line 25 that received the name Oude God and the original station was renamed. The current station building is a 1974 design from Dirk Servaes and Johan Beyne.

Mortsel-Liersesteenweg is a railway station in Mortsel, just south of the city of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium. The station opened in 1933 as Mortsel-Oude-God on Line 27. The station closed in 1939 and re-opened in December 2008.
