Châteauneuf-du-Rhône

Viviers Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Saint-Vincent de Viviers) is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Viviers in the department of Ardèche, France. It is the seat of the Bishop of Viviers. The construction of the tower dates from the 11th century, and the greater part of the rest of the building from the 12th century. The vaulted ceiling was destroyed during the Wars of Religion of the 16th century, and was not reconstructed until the 18th century, when the work was carried out by Jean-Baptiste Franque. The cathedral has been protected as a monument historique since 9 August 1906. One of the spires of the cathedral was destroyed by a lightning strike on the night of September 25 to 26, 2021. Already undergoing restoration after the earthquake of November 2019, the cathedral now needs additional repair works.

Mandrin Cave is located in the municipality of Malataverne, on the left bank of the Rhône.

Le Teil (French pronunciation: [lə.tɛj]) is a commune in the Ardèche department in southern France. The writer Romain Roussel (1898–1973) winner of the Prix Interallié in 1937 was born in Le Teil.

The canton of Montélimar-2 is an administrative division of the Drôme department, southeastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Montélimar. It is the second-largest town in the department after Valence. In 2018, the commune had a population of 39,415; its urban area had a population of 57,372.
