Alixan

Communauté d'agglomération Valence Romans Agglo is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the cities of Valence and Romans-sur-Isère. It is located in the Drôme department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, southeastern France. It was created in January 2017 by the merger of the former Communauté d'agglomération Valence-Romans Sud Rhône-Alpes and the Communauté de communes de la Raye. Its seat is in Valence. Its area is 940.5 km2. Its population was 223,826 in 2019, of which 64,749 in Valence and 33,098 in Romans-sur-Isère.

Gare de Valence TGV (IATA: XHK) is a railway station in Valence, France which offers regular TGV services. The station, located in eastern Valence (Alixan), is about ten kilometres north-east from the town centre, allowing through trains to pass at full speed. With its opening in 2001, the station has considerably shortened travel times for travellers throughout eastern France. Valence TGV was built for and opened along with the LGV Méditerranée, which extends south from Valence to Marseille. The station is only 1 km south of the end of LGV Rhône-Alpes, which extends north from Valence to Lyon and, via the LGV Sud-Est, on to Paris in 2h11.

The Collegiate Church of Saint-Barnard is a former collegiate church in Romans-sur-Isère, France, founded in 838 by Saint Bernard of Vienne on the banks of the Isère river.The church is the subject of a classification as historical monuments by the list of 1840, supplemented by a classification in 1942 for the classification of the plots of land around it.

Chatuzange-le-Goubet (French pronunciation: [ʃatyzɑ̃ʒ lə ɡubɛ]; Vivaro-Alpine: Chatusange e los Gobets) is a commune in the Drôme department in southeastern France. A hoard of Roman silver objects was found in the commune in the nineteenth century. Known as the Chatuzange Treasure, it can now be seen in the British Museum.
