Mount Sunapee State Park is a public recreation area in Newbury, New Hampshire. The state park's nearly 3,000 acres (1,200 ha) include most of Mount Sunapee and a beach area on Lake Sunapee. Park activities include swimming, hiking, camping, skiing, fishing, picnicking, and non-motorized boating. The park's ski area is operated as Mount Sunapee Resort under the management of Vail Resorts Inc.The park's beach, also known as Newbury Beach, features a bathhouse, store, canoe and kayak rentals, playground, and restricted boat launch. A seasonal campground is located off NH Route 103, up a winding mountain road accessed through Mount Sunapee Resort.

Mount Sunapee (or Sunapee Mountain on federal maps) is a 5-mile-long (8.0 km) mountain ridge in the towns of Newbury and Goshen in western New Hampshire, United States. Its highest peak, at the north end of the mountain, is 2,726 feet (831 m) above sea level. The mountain has three secondary peaks, White Ledges at 2,716 ft (828 m); North Peak at 2,280 ft (695 m); and South Peak at 2,608 ft (795 m). The north end of the mountain, including the summit, is within Mount Sunapee State Park, which encompasses 3.85 square miles (10.0 km2) and is home to the popular Mount Sunapee Resort. The mountain extends south to Pillsbury State Park in the towns of Goshen and Washington. The entire mountain ridge is traversed by the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway, a hiking trail that links the summit of Sunapee with that of Mount Monadnock, 50 miles (80 km) to the south in the town of Jaffrey, New Hampshire. Also crossing the summit in an east–west route is a section of the Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway, a 75-mile (121 km) trail linking ten towns in west-central New Hampshire as it circles the Lake Sunapee region and crosses the summits of the three mountains for which it is named. The two Greenway trails meet at Lake Solitude and use the same trail to the summit.

Mount Sunapee Resort is a ski area and resort located in Mount Sunapee State Park in Newbury, New Hampshire, United States.

Newbury is a town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 2,172 at the 2020 census. Newbury is home to part of Lake Sunapee, including Mount Sunapee State Park Beach. Mount Sunapee Resort, a ski area in Mount Sunapee State Park, is in the west. The town includes the villages of Newbury, Blodgett Landing and South Newbury.

The Center Meetinghouse is a historic meetinghouse on NH 103 in Newbury, New Hampshire. The Federal-style church building was built c. 1832, a relatively late date for the style. It replaced a 1797 meetinghouse that had been located about a mile away. It is further believed to be distinctive in New Hampshire as the only Federal period church in which the pulpit is located at the rear of the auditorium. Originally built to be used by multiple religious denominations, it is now operated by a local nonprofit organization as a community center. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Fells, also known as the Hay Estate, was originally the summer home of John Milton Hay, a 19th-century American statesman. It is located in Newbury, New Hampshire, on New Hampshire Route 103A, 2.2 mi (3.5 km) north of its junction with New Hampshire Route 103.

Built about 1830, it is one of a regionally distinctive cluster of plank-frame house, with a number of features unusual within that cluster. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Brook Road Inn, formerly the Backside Inn, is a historic inn at 1171 Brook Road in Goshen, New Hampshire. The inn, which now provides lodging only, is located in an 1835 farmhouse that is one of a regional cluster of 19th-century plank frame houses. The inn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Covit House is a historic house on Goshen Center Road in Goshen, New Hampshire. Built about 1800, it is one of the oldest surviving and best-preserved plank-frame houses in the town. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The building served as a school until 1926, and is now a private residence. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
